Like what if the sun is completely out, but it's only like 50 degrees outside, could I still get a tan? Does the temperature matter at all? As long as the sun is out with not a cloud in sight?

Why is my stomach tanner than my pecks?

Certain body parts will tan faster or are more likely to tan then other body parts. Some people will go tanning and get an awesome tan all over there body but aren't able to tan there face, while other people may be able to tan their face but have trouble tanning their calves/etc. That's just how it works! You can always get a fake tanner to apply to the area that isn't as tan so that it can catch up in colour/blend with the rest of your skintone.

Why do Asians and Asian-Americans look different? Even though the Asian-Americans may be of 100% Asian ethnicity, what causes changes in looks between these two groups of people?

asian americans are more into western fashion and stuff while asian asians are more into asian fashion culture so they look different.Chou Tzuyu - Asian celebrityAngelababy - Asian celebrityKeiko Kitagawa - Asian celebrityErika Mori - Asian celebrityJamie Chung - Asian American celebrityBrenda Song - Asian American CelebrityKelly Hu - Asian American celebrityAs one can see, Asian Americans look pretty “white-washed” with western beauty standards. They have heavy makeup, have blonde highlights in their hair, tan, and seem to aim for a sexy vibe. Asian Asians on the other hand tend to like lighter makeup, have paler skin, and aim for a cute vibe. TBH, personally I do not think Asian Americans are suited for western beauty standards, especially the makeup style. Asian features are not suited for heavy contouring.

Why do Philippines actors/actress have light complexion & doesn't look like native Filipinos?

It has to do with Filipino culture. Here, dark skinned people are often seen as poor as they are allegedly dark skinned for having to work in the fields.A hierarchy also exists subtly whereby fairer skin is seen as beautiful and professional. Most rich Filipinos are either mestizo (Jaime Zobel de Ayala) or of Chinese descendant (Henry Sy).Jaime Augusto Zobel de AyalaHenry SyFair skin is also seen as cleaner in nature and often or not, they are always somehow seen as a correlation to success and richness. This is also a manifestation of the overall Asian perception to light skin; whitening products are rampant across Asia, from Pakistan to the Philippines. Everyone in Asia wants to be white simply perhaps to be of the same league as the Westerners who are mostly seen as rich and beautiful/handsome. This is often accompanied with plastic surgeries to attain the perfect look. See Xander Ford for example.Xander Ford : Before and AfterIronically, we have whites who wish to have tanned skin as the bronze-hued skin seems to hold more complexity than your typical fair/white skin.Nevertheless, there is a strong desire for most Filipinos to be white and actors and actresses are no exemption. In fact, since they earn more in their career, they are often able to afford such transformations from famous Filipino dermatologists such as Dr. Vicky Belo.Of course, most are already of mixed blood (maylahi) and naturally have fairer skin and for some, their facial apperance doesn’t even look like your typical Filipino’s. Some examples are James Reid, Edward Barber, Wil Dasovich, Anne Curtis, Bianca King.James Reid (Australian-Filipino)Edward Barber (British-Filipino)Wil Dasovich (American-Filipino)Anne Curtis (Australian-Filipina)Bianca King (German-Filipina)In summary, fair skin is generally preferred by Filipinos because of the notions attached to it and this is therefore reflected in the showbiz world where Filipinos of mixed blood are often chosen and end up being actors and actresses that as you mentioned, looks nothing like native Filipinos.
