Package stuck at ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS)?

It can take several weeks. Look back to your estimated delivery date. it probably said 3 to 6 weeks. THAT IS how long it will take. Once your package clears customs, the tracking number will update. I order a ton of stuff from China
My package stuck in ISC Chicago?
I'm waiting for a package from China and it's saying ''Processed Through Sort Facility - ISC Chicago IL (USPS) since the 15th. Last time when I ordered from the same company, the package came through New York and it only took 2 days to get my package from there. (I live in New Jersey). Any idea why my package went to Chicago if I live in New Jersey?

Things coming out of china quite often get stuck in their customs for about 30 days. That's normal. If the paperwork was done properly they will send it on if not they won't. They are very strict. However be aware the tracking number only tracks it to the border. Once customs releases it your country often gives it a new tracking number in your postal system. When I get things from china I watch for when China customs releases it then I contact the sender and ask for the tracking number in my country. When it switches over the new no. Is given to the sender so they should have it to give you.
Why is my USPS package at an international sort facility and stuck in San Francisco for two days?
Tracking tells you where it was at the minute listed in tracking. Most tracking data is taken during sortation and then the sorted mail is loaded on trucks for transport to the next location. When you don’t see an update, it does not mean the item is still there. It is moving and when it gets sorted again at another location, there will usually be an update.

I've already waited more than two weeks. This is taking fcking forever and I'm tired of waiting. My sister ordered a phone case that also shipped from Hong Kong, same carrier and it got there at least two weeks before mine?! WHAT THE FCK I AM SO TIRED OF WAITING ALREADY
A package delivered from the US to China via USPS hasn't change its status for 3 months?
Happened to me too, and USPS is unable to do anything about it. If you send things to China, you need a company like DHL or Fedex which retains full control over the shipment until delivery. USPS hands over to the Chinese postal service before the border, and then loses the ability to tack further. Either your package didn't make it through customs or it got lost or someone took it. Chinese postal service is a disgrace, even within China everybody uses private courier services now.

The black hole of shipping? Man, that is the million dollar question that has been asked plenty of times here. If it is customs for a couple of days to a week, it is probably fine. If it goes beyond a month, you have to go through the originating shipper to discover what is holding it up. They don’t tell the receiver, as a rule of thumb, because a LOT of stuff is sent through NYC that really shouldn’t be—illegal goods, in particular. So they don’t routinely warn the receiver that “hey, that hash you tried to buy from Afghanistan isn’t going to make it to you. Sorry.” The other problem is sheer volume of inbound packages. They are perpetually backed up. I never had anything shipped to me that I knew was going through ICS without insurance (if it was worth it).In short, you are going up a bunch of red tape to find out through ICS. You probably will have better luck going to the shipper and asking them for help. Can’t help you if you are trying to bring in food, seeds, bottles of anything, or other either illegal items or items that easily get flagged. Once flagged, they disappear into a warehouse like the one in Indiana Jones.Good luck!
How long does a package stays in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS)?
I ordered something in ebay from china (5 hats, 2 scarves) in December 18 and was shipped in December 20. They sent it as an ePacket. It took 3 days to get to the US, but now it seems stuck. I have no new information since December 23. Does anyone know how long will it take for them to release my package or if is on the way and they just didn't scan it? Its been like 10 days and I'm getting worried. The seller said it would take 7 to 15 days, but from what I've heard customs can hold packages up to WEEKS! I really don't know what to do, what to think... It says its a First-Class Package International Service and features an International Letter. I don't know what the heck does that mean! If someones knows anything about it, any information will be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I live in Puerto Rico, which is in the Caribbean, but its US territory.
