Usps Picking Up Packages Help

Can my dad pick up my USPS package for me?

They didn't put my package in the mailbox and my mom wasn't at home at the time to get the package so the mailman just left a note saying that we can just pick it up. The package is being sent to me with my name on it, so can my dad pick it up for me since I'm at school? (My entire family has the same last name so yes we are related).

What time does USPS pick up packages?

Does the USPS mailman pick it up from my mailbox as he is dropping off the mail?

I have to mail a package and don't know if he is going to come extremely early (2-4am) because if he does, I will have to leave it out all night (which I would prefer not to do, chance of rain).

If he picks it up as he drops off the mail, I should be fine, because that doesn't happen till around noon.

USPS picked up UPS package what to do?

UPS routinely makes contract drop shipments at USPS offices. The clerk will likely hand your parcel off to the UPS driver during one of his scheduled stops. Our office calls UPS on a regular basis to let them know we have their packages. People drop them in mailboxes all the time, so this is not an uncommon thing. whoever told you the USPS will deliver it free of charge was mistaken (or did not know and told you this just to get off the phone. Sorry to say, this happens everywhere). The only way this would be possible is if it were being shipped within the same city. Perhaps they meant to say that they would drop it back at your house. If I were you, I would call the USPS office and ask for the clerk that handles mark-up and undeliverable mail. If you get no information there, try UPS again to see if they have received your package from the post office.

Can you pick up a package directly from USPS?

Not usually. Many Letter Carrier and Rural Carriers work out of a building other than your local post office. If you were to go there early in the day to get it, because you saw in tracking that it was in your town, it might not be in that building. Most delivery people do not know what packages they have until they go to load their vehicles. They just take the container with their packages right to the truck and unload it there. They are trying to make this efficient and having to dig through a container when they have other urgent business is frowned upon.If you see your carrier in your neighborhood at their truck, you might ask if they could give you the package. If they know you that might be easy, but if they don’t they should be asking for ID.

Can I pick up a package from USPS without a slip?

I ordered an item from Storenvy back on December 10th, I received no update on if my purchase arrived, OK I'll just contact the store owner right? I tried in the span of 2 weeks and still received no reply. Now this happened before with another store I bought from on this website but I was able to get in contact with the seller and had all the details to schedule a redelivery and received a slip. Back on track-I really want to get my item before it's too late and gets shipped back. I'm thinking on going to the post office to check if it's there but I'm under 18 and I have no ID or slip so I don't know if they can find and give the package to me? Please respond, it's urgent! thank you

Acceptable forms of ID for picking up a USPS package?

USPS left one of those attempted delivery slips in mailbox, although I have no idea how I missed them as I was home at the time. Now I have to pick it up at the post office, but I lost my ID recently and since I'm a student and am from out of state, it will take several weeks to get replaced by mail.
I have my school ID but I don't think that's sufficient? I'm also between living situations and am staying with a friend so I don't have a utility bill or anything like that. What are my options?

Can you pick up a package at a post office (USPS) before it's scheduled to be delievered?

Say, according to provided USPS tracking, a package makes its way to your local post office after the mail trucks for the day have already been sent out. Can you go to the post office and just pick up the package, or do you have to wait for it to be delivered the next day?

Arrived at local Post Office - Allow one to two additional days for delivery

So I tracked my package via fedex. Earlier today it said it arrived at my local post office. Am I allowed to pick up my package at the post office? If so, what do I ask them when I get in the post office? It's only 1:13 PM (same day as above).

Would UPS stores help print your shipping package slip?

Yes, in any way you may need that done:Need something shipped, but need a price and perhaps even need the item boxed? UPS Stores have the equipment necessary to help with all of these items, from different sizes of packing material and filler to being able to to have you digitally produce a shipping label. Also, the materials sold will be of prime shipping quality. Little known fact: anything shipped through UPS system must be packaged so as to withstand a ten foot fall.Have a label but need it printed? UPS Stores also tend to have copiers, printers  and computers from which to print such a label.Have the label AND the proper packing material? UPS stores will accept your packages and give them to the pickup driver, at no cost to you.

If my package was left at the USPS office and picked up by FedEx, will my tracking number from USPS help me find if it has been delivered?

Most international shipping services offer two tracking IDs. First tracking ID works all the time and becomes active as soon as the package is picked up by the courier service. The other tracking ID is country specific and becomes active only when the shipment reaches the destination country. This is also called the last mile tracking. If your shipping service provider USPS has passed on this last mile tracking ID to FedEx that is responsible to deliver the package to the customer, you should be able to find the proof of delivery on their website. The USPS tracking ID should be sufficient but ultimately USPS is fetching the delivery status from the FedEx website so, in this case the original tracking may not show the delivery status until the last mile tracking is updated for this shipment on FedEx website.
