Usually When I Come Home From School Around 2 Pm All I Want To Do Is Eat And Sleep But I Need To

Why am i always tired when i come home from school?

you're a teenager, and you were like me in high school, i never got enough sleep. I got home from school and crashed in my room. My senior year, i started going to bed at seven, and it made my life so much easier. I know its hard cuz you want to go out and play, but if you put in your ipod and turn off the lights, its like heaven. Also try eating a good brekfast in the morning. My favorite thing was scrambled eggs on a bagel with some cheese. The days i didnt eat breakfast i was dragging halfway through school. But eating a yummy breakfast that you actually like, boosts your mind, and your metabolism, and sets you on your feet in the morning. Try eating small snacks throughout the day. When i was in school, i always had nutrigrain bars, and peanuts and raisins stuff like that in my bag. And when i'd get to class, it grab a handful. and snack a little bit, it helped me get through the day. If youre still tired try something with sugar. Like skittles (dont do that too much xD) or gatorade, even trail mix.
hope that helps!! Best of luck to you!

I keep falling asleep after school?

Every day when I get home I go up stairs and I go on my computer. Im probably on for 30 min before I fall asleep. I usually will sleep from 4-8:30. But today I slept from 4-12am which is terrible i know! Anyway I wake up everyday at 6 and I go to bed at 12, im 14. Im in high school so I have a LOT of stress and todat, well yesterday I had 2 tests 2 quizzes and math corrections I forgot at home, which made me even more stressed out. Im kinda overweight but, I look slimmer than I am. Im also a girl and im not that active. My breakfest is usually a piece of cheese and some dry cereal and my lunch is diet dr pepper and fries. I get super tired the second I get out of school and into the car. Sometimes I nap on the way home, eat and then go to sleep. I want to know what could be wrong, do I have low blood sugar? Is it just highschool? thanks!

I always feel sleepy when I come back from school. How do I solve this?

Hello.I suggest you to solve this at weekends or atleast when you have 2 consecutive holidays, whichever is earlier...That way, even if you feel sleepy the whole day (which you will) , you wont have much to lose.1) Day 0 : Start by taking a short nap after the school. By short i mean less than 30 minutes .Use help of alarm, your friends or family to wake you up.You will feel tired and want to sleep more, but just get out of the bed and go out for a walk or any sport of your choice. If you want to go to sleep at 10 pm.Hit the bed at 9:30pm.Set the alarm for next day..anytime from 6 to 9 hours, whatever suits you.Keep your gadgets far out from your reach.Just relax and try to sleep. You may have hard time falling asleep because thats not your usual routine. But if you keep lying, eyes closed in a dark room, it will eventually come to you.2)Day 1 : Get up with the alarm, even if you got a little sleep last night. You can take some tea/coffee if you want to.Do some sort of exercise.Carry on your normal routine.Keep yourselves busy.Do not give into the impulse of sleeping.Take a short afternoon nap, at the same time as the previous day ,(for 15-30 min)Again hit the bed at 9:30pm3)Day 2 : Repeat as day 1.It might take you a week or two to fully adapt your body to this routine. But you will feel quite better after 3 days. So, i suggest you to try this when you do not have a test for atleast a week or so and have a minimum of two days off from the school.Hope that helps. All the best.

I go to school everyday at 7:30 a.m and come home by 4 pm. I want to balance my sleep, diet and studies. What could be the most effective timetable for me?

This is the way I'd do it.Have breakfast at home, before school. Breakfast out sucks and usually isn't healthy. If you have a break around 10–11am, take a snack to school.Have lunch, try to bring it from home, it's usually healthier.Have a snack when you get home and study for as long as you can without feeling tired, so let's say an hour with a break halfway through. Not sure if you want to workout or not, but if so, going for a run around 6pm would be a nice way to incorporate working out in your schedule.Have dinner early (around 7pm) so you can go to bed without feeling full or bloated.Try to go to sleep around or before 11pm.Hope this is what you were looking for.

What do you usually do in your 24 hours day?

Hi Red Parrot :)

Okay, a great deal of my day is spent contemplating who I truly am...I like to sit or lie down and ask myself deep questions and dig for roots of fear. Sometimes I do this while laying out in the sunshine (one of my top favorite things to do), or its sparked by reading something pertaining to it. All day long I am asking myself questions and that is why I love Yahoo Answers so much, lol....I have an outlet that allows my friends and contacts and other yahoo'ers to chime in. It is magical :) Hmmm...other things I commonly do during my day is play with my two dogs, go for walks in the forest preserves by my house, read, write, look up information on nutrition, health and (rarely) the news, I write lots of letters, I work at Whole Foods and go to school for massage therapy. I absolutely love both. Pretty soon I am getting a massage table so I can start practicing at home instead of just at clinicals during class. I absolutely love to go running...and I love listening to music when I run (for awhile I was concerned about the level of joy I feel when I go running, its almost like a euphoria so I tried going without my ipod, but I still felt the joy only minus the music so I decided it was silly to worry about feeling lots of joy lol)...I like to go running far out in nature so if I can find a trail close to home that runs through the forest preserve that is my favorite place to be when I'm running. I like to brew and drink kombucha tea. I love to plant trees and anything that grows. I love looking at the night sky. I like visiting my family and friends. I love swimming in water, especially the ocean (but this is rare and definitely not typical...only happens when I'm on vacation). I like finding new and delicious recipes that are vegan and raw. I like trying new things :) I usually take a warm/hot bath and read one of my favorite books, ACIM...or I take a shower becuz I don't have time lol. I love looking at my crystals, and even talking to them...kinda like how people talk to their plants I suppose.

I tried to answer in terms of a typical day, but it was impossible...lol...but most of these things I do at least 5 days a week.

Fun question, thanks for asking :) Love and blessings!

I don't get enough sleep b/c of school?

You need to quit cross country and deep down part of you already knows this. I did HS on 4-5 hours of sleep and its not good. I spent the whole weekend sleeping, was stressed out all the time, and generally anxious about everything. It could lead to anxiety/depression. So be careful. If you really dont want to quit XC, then your only option is to spend every weekend trying to get as much ahead as possible in your homework so that you can get at least 6 hours of sleep a weeknight. You also have to try to find time before you get home to complete at least one hw assignment (e.g. during lunch, a free period in school). Math assignments are good to do becuase there are few problems and once you figure out how to do two or three problems, generally the rest of the problems are easy to do. If getting good grades and doing XC are important, talk to your coach or to your XC team members to figure out what they do in terms of time management to get through hw in a shorter amount of time. If getting into a good college is important to you, then your first and foremost concern should be your grades and quit XC, unless you are hoping to compete for an athletic scholarship. Something is going to have to give, either you quit XC or only commit to spending 1 hour on every hw assignment and getting 6 hours of sleep..... You need at least 6 hours of sleep, ideally 8, but 6 is good enough.

13 weeks pregnant and all I want to do is sleep - why is this?

Every pregnancy is different and this child could also be another sex then what you have had before which can also make the pregnancy different. I was also as you discribed, mine did pass and I got energized. I also did alot of exercise, took vitamins and kept myself busy. I know i got exhausted but it did seem to help. Who cares what the family thinks-- it is not thier body nor their experience. Eating sweets is pretty normal since you have different cravings yours is sweets and mine was chicken. Your taste buds change also, sometimes your body will crave things that it thinks it needs like calcium--ie: milk, ice cream, cheese, where i think my body needed the protein for some reason. i wanted chicken morning noon and night. If you over due it could be more harm then good too, you will get more energy as the baby becomes more stable in there, this is the time that the baby grows the most and i mean with the parts, skin, hair, nails and bones. When this is all formed your body will settle and the baby will just get chubby. If you don't have the energy then you don't. just make the most of your time when you do have the time. put a load of laundry in and then rest till it is done. then put it in the dryer then clean the sink and then rest. ya know what i mean? Contact me if you wish, I wish the best and relax and enjoy this time of change and growth of a beautiful creation.
PS: If the family sees something that needs done then they need to do it, also they can help out till you are able to do more. It is more precious to preserve your body and be healthy and your body is going to tell you what you need to achieve a healthy baby and birth. If the fam. is the ones that don't live with you then who cares, tell them to come and dust if they feel the need to, or cook. if it is the fam. that lives in house then the same to them, they should be helping out anyway. if they see a need then they need to step up.
