haha! you and me both. except im in 9th and need a good rason to switch out of a couple classes too :S (got no classes with friends) You could say. -The teacher told me to. -my parent(s) doesnt want me in the class -I don't feel comfortable in the class -I don't like the way the teacher teachers the class. Those are just vague reasons. I think you're better off with the last reason but be more specific in the reason. Some of those reasons depend on wether who ever sets up ur classes reads the reason -.O but u can take ur chances
What's a good a reason to switch lunches in High School?
Ok, so my friend and I have been best friends since 5th grade. Now were going to high school and we dont have lunches together at all. we've been asking people around if they have any lunches with either of us and everyone has different lunches. so now we have to figure out a way to get the councelor to agree to switch our lunches so we could be together and not alone on our first day of high school. we need a good reason to switch my friend to my lunch...which is 5a 6a. this is the later lunch. im not saying that we dont want to meet new people its just that on the first day of high school all freshman sit with there friends and not new people. and we dont want to be the losers at lunch that have no frends...so please help and post a good reason to switch a morning lunch to a later lunch. thanks!

Other than moving? You aren’t thriving at the school you are attending despite everything you have tried. Perhaps a fresh start will help. Another school has a specific program yours does not that you have an interest in. For example, the high school my sons attended had a fantastic foods program and my youngest was all in. He ultimately attained his Bachelors from The Culinary Institute of America. Had he been at another school with the interest in foods that he had, certainly we would have considered letting him transfer. I myself went to a private School for High School as I have a very high I.Q. and my parents felt I would thrive better there.

From your question, it sounds like you meet with your counselor as part of your school schedule. Counselor sessions are one-on-one, rather than a classroom situation, right? You didn't say which comes first, lunch or counselor, so here's couple of ideas either way. If you have counselor first, then lunch, then another class, but you WANT lunch first, then counselor, then another class, you could say that you can concentrate better on the counselor session if you're not hungry. You can explain that you feel you'll get more out of the counselor times if you're operating on fresh fuel. It is true that a person's thinking and moods are affected by whether they have eaten a good meal or are feeling hungry and getting irritable. If it's just you and the counselor, that requires a lot more participation on your part (instead of in a classroom full of other students) and you want to be at your best. OR if you have lunch first, then counselor, then another class, but you WANT counselor first, then lunch, then another class, you could say you're not hungry yet when your lunchtime comes. You could say that since you're not hungry yet, you don't eat much , and then you run out of fuel by the time your last class of the day comes along. You could say it's really interfering with your concentration at the end of the day. OR you can say you need the time to study... if you want lunch first, then counselor, you could say you need to study your notes for the class that you had just before lunch, while the information is still fresh in your mind. You could say you have a hard time with that class unless you can spend extra time right after class to study and make more notes about that subject. If you want counselor first, then lunch, say you need the time to prepare for the next class after lunch, because you've found out that it really helps to study a little bit, ahead of time. Even if you can't use these ideas, I hope they help you think of something that does work. Best friends are really important. Good luck in high school!
