Hands down,What We Do in the ShadowsOh my god but it's funny. Still the best vampire movie of all time and I love my horror. It's a “documentary” set in modern day Wellington, New Zealand. It paints vampires as these very normal, goofy people trying to stumble through modern life. It's hard for them because they are all 200+ years old. One is Dracula and one is Nosferatu (they call him Peter lol) and all of the legendary stereotypes come along with them.Even though it isn't scary it's still the best in my opinion. If I were to pick the scariest I'd say 30 Days of Night. I mean look at that face:30 Days of Night shows you how it would really be if vampires (considering legend) were able to rule the roost. It's a nonstop, holy shit, run, omg, hide type of situation. It's bloody and brutal. Van Helsing be damned he'd stand no chance. It's like a zombie movie with faster moving, smarter and more horrific vampires.The best touchy feely vampire movie is shared by Let The Right One In:And of course, Interview With the Vampire:Both of these legendary flicks have beautifully horrifying scenes but the core message is romantic. It's not love romance but need. The little vampire girl Eli, needs Oskar. Her love is primal like child and mother. The same goes for Lestat and Louis (the original vampire with a soul.) Louis touches Lestat’s last dying bit of humanity. You may not see it at first but you can sense in Lestat’s frustration that he thrives off of Louis. They are both fantastic movies with Let the Right One In being better but Interview holding a lot nostalgia for me (I was pubescent when it came out lol)But like I said, What We Do in the Shadows is boss.P.S. Please see the original Swedish Let the Right One In and I forgot to include an interesting film called Daybreakers:I like this movie because it features the dominant humanoid as vampire. They are sophisticated and civilized yet humans are the ones living, hiding in the sun. The artistic aspect of the movie is also brilliant. The world of vampires has this distinctly dark environment with this blue greenish glow and the world of humans looks normal. It's pretty cool.

There was a funny vampire movie that came out in 2009 or late 2008. I can only remember a scene from the commercial with two guys that looked alike but one was a vampire. Normal guy- Shoot him he's the vampire. Vampire (with the obvious deep voice)- No, shoot him he's the vampire. And the idiot friend with a cross voice couldn't tell the difference.

I think you are referring to Love Bites: The Reluctant Vampire.. Adam Ant plays a vampire.. an apartment building was somehow built around his crypt.. He comes out from behind her fireplace.. He does "sleep" in her bed at the beginning.. (she thinks he's dead even though he told her before hand what to expect).. and she does try to make him eat human food.. (he especially liked pizza and spaghetti oddly enough).. It's one of my favorite.. but almost impossible to find..
