My modded xbox won't play all burned games.... Ive made backups of most of my games and only 2-3 seem to work?

Okay there are several things that could be wrong here. first off, you will need to know what kind of reader your xbox 360 has in it. there are some models (specifically newer ones that will not be flashable) have you got a black elite? You make it sound like you have played several burned games before so it would be strange if the firmware werent properly flashed. Now IMGBURN is the best PC application for burning the games. You use Verbatim which is best. But you say you are using DVD-R DL. I would highly recommend using DVD+R DL. this could be the solution to your error messages.

Physical layer data is very different from file system level data.Burnable discs all contain specific data like disc type, manufacturer, calibration data, wobble tracks .etc. These are dead giveaways that this disc is a burned disc, there is no way on earth any disc drives cannot tell the difference.Original PS4 discs also contain other features to make life difficult for professional piracy (like those actually have disc pressing lines). There are deliberately placed corrupt data sectors (actually just off-spec sectors that use special modulation schemes). These sectors will be corrected when reading from the disc and when making pirate discs, the corruptions are omitted, making a disc too “perfect” to be a real one. Knowing which sectors are decoys will require reverse engineering the console software and find where does it check for these sectors, then programming the disc manufacturing line to somehow incorporate these features. These will make manufacturing pirate discs prohibitively unprofitable.And at last the original discs contain ROM marks, which are burned onto the disc AFTER it is pressed. Manufacturers can opt to make/extract random features/errors in the disc and sign the data to burn into the ROM marks, so the errors even the original disc manufacturers cannot make accurately again on the master disc/actual discs will be signed and consoles can verify. Because you WILL NOT have the private key for this, you WILL NOT be able to sign your own ROM marks. Since these errors are truly randomly introduced and the original disc manufacturers cannot reproduce them, you WILL NOT be able to reproduce them either, making it impossible to copy the disc.These methods are not necessarily on PS4 discs, however a lot of consoles have at least some of them. Xbox 360 and Wii discs are examples of custom formats based on DVD standard. Blu-ray discs are more secure so these are either already standardized into the Blu-ray standards and are secure enough for copy protection, or incorporated into console game discs as additional security features.
