Problems with in-game video recording on the sims 3?
After I record something in the game, If i try to playback on quicktime (because im using a mac) It says "Additional software is required for Quicktime to playback this media". can anyone help me please?
Why won't my Sims 3 game record video?
When I try to record videos on my game (just me, not with an in-game video camera from Generations), no video seems to record. It only records video if I take the video on 'compressed' setting, but then I have no sound. When I try recording on 'high', 'medium', or 'low' setting, it records the sound just fine, but when I try watching it the video doesn't play. Any suggestions? Also, I have all of the expansions and stuff packs up to Pets, and all the patches so far. Recording used to work, but as I tried making a video a few months ago, it wouldn't playback the videos as I tried to view them, just the sound. I removed all and am slowly re-installing custom content, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I've tried all the video settings, medium, low, and high, and those all record sound but no video. Highest (uncompressed) records video, but it doesn't record sound and makes the game run like dial-up.
I like to record video games. Should I get OBS Classic or OBS Studio?

I'm working on some artwork and intros before launching a newer, more professionally produced channel, but every screen-capture video on my channel was recorded with OBS, right from the start. Only the most recent few were with Studio, and I've been working out the kinks with my hardware and all sorts of software issues during my journey. Studio definitely seems like an improvement, but now that I have built my first PC and am looking to get the rest of my hardware sorted out, my problems should be in the past.OBS, however, was very rarely the cause of any problems for me.
How to record webcam videos longer than an hour through windows movie maker?
I am using this program to record my screen while I play games. Before Total Screen Recorder, I tried like 5 different softwares(including Frag,Camstudio, hypercam...) but I had many issues such as the game is recorded in the corner of the video with these program, the video is so blurry, and constant skipping on the playback of the video because the software can not record fast enough to keep up with the game. Whats a good *CONSTANT* screen recording programs for games like Maplestory and wow?
I tried 5 different programs, but some have kind of problems such as the game is recorded in the corner of the video, the video is so blurry, and constant skipping on the playback of the video because the software can not record fast enough to keep up with the game. I am using Total Screen Recorder, it records my game without all those annoying crap recording problems, as video file as.AVI / WMV / SWF / FLV and could upload to Youtube without zoom or format convert. most important is that it is designed for game recording i think!very simply but work well and no leg happens while working!
Problems recording with Dosbox?
I want to do a Let's Play of an old DOS game, but DosBox itself won't record from my microphone. I know how to record video, so I just use a separate program to record from my microphone at the same time. When I finished recording, both the video and audio was about twenty minutes long, but when I go to edit it in Windows Movie Maker, it says that the video is about 13-15 minutes long, but the audio from the microphone stays the same. I watched the whole video to see if it had cut some pieces off, but it hasn't, it just seems to run faster than it should, which means the video ends early while my recorded audio carries on. I tried getting around it by using Camstudio, but the same thing happens. When I watch it back, my voice can't seem to keep up with what's happening on the screen. I can't figure out what the problem is, does anybody know?
