Johnny Maurice- means black/dark in French, and it sounds very elegant. Johnny Herod- was the evil King who wanted the baby Jesus killed, so if he's rich or of royal blood or just sophisticated this could work Johnny Oscuro- Dark in Spanish, same for Maurice Johnny Blood- self-explanitory. Plus typical names like John/Johnny go very well with unusual surnames. Johnny Jabez- Hebrew for sorrow/pain Johnny Caché- French for Hidden. An Unlikely Hero.. Story Ideas!?
i wrote a short story with a very unlikely hero once (the character was a psycho, the story and character ended up a lot more scary and mess-upped then i hoped, which is why the story got an A in my creative writing class). some of the best unlikely heroes happen to be antiheroes (a story where the hero, the main character would normally be a villain) or happen to be reluctant (that one guy who doesn't even want/understand the situation he/she is in). a good example of an antihero would be the narrator in The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. for an antihero story, stick to either mystery or horror. for the reluctant hero, either go with action (he can be in the situation to save his girl or family) or horror (you can make him try to run as much as possible).
How is Cao Cao regarded in China - as a hero or a villain?
He is seen as a villain that acts like a hero. His famous phrase “I would rather that everyone were betrayed by me, instead of me being betrayed by everyone.” (宁教我负天下人， 休教天下人负我）set this characteristic on him. He commanded his troops to massacre XuZhou city just because his father was killed by XuZhou governor’s soldier. But this is still debatable wether it happened or not. Cao Cao was very ambitious and seen as Han’s worst nightmare next to Dong Zhuo. But I personally think different with many Chinese. I believe Cao Cao is actually all for Han Dynasty China. He could have overthrown the government anytime he want but he didn’t. His son Cao Pi did and preserved his father’s clean name as a Han loyalist at the same time. Cao Cao could have control all of China if the real villain Liu Bei is dead. Cao Cao try to use Liu Bei but realize the real threat to China is Liu Bei himself. proclaiming to be descendent of Zhong Shang Jin Wang Liu Sheng (中山靖王刘胜), he gain the support of the people. But Liu Bei have no real talent or what so ever. He throw his own son on the floor when Zhao Yun endangered his own life to save the baby. Why, some people might ask? It is because Liu Bei have nothing to give to Zhao Yun to thank him so he decided to do this action to gain loyalty. He keep saying how he don’t want to take over his cousin’s territories but ended up doing so. The first one is Jing Zhou (荆州）own by Liu Biao (刘表）， next is Yi Zhou (益州) own by Liu Zhang (刘璋). Liu Bei was afraid to take Jing Zhou at first because of Cao Cao, but aligned with Wu Guo (吴国) under Sun Quan (孙权) and able to get the province. Liu Zhang however ended differently. He was killed by Liu Bei after he is overthrown and buried in a hurry. This shows how Liu Bei play his step and gain a good reputation.P.S. Most Chinese learn their Three Kingdom through the biased novel “Romance of the Three Kingdom”. In reality Cao Cao is not a bad person rather the opposite, a thoughtful person. Willing to use the people who tried to kill him and forgive those who have fight against him.

Yeah sure….When you are trying to sleep at night, all alone in the house and you hear a haunting scream from the jungle behind your house, don't go investigating it. This brings us to a more important point.If you come across a house which is up for sale but is believed to be haunted, do not buy it. That's how horror movies start.Ok! Even if you buy the house and encounter something supernatural in the first night itself, don't be stupid. Leave the house ASAP. Because if you don't, you'll soon join the ghost's party. Or go to the living room. You'll not find a single ghost there.And if you are still living there despite knowing the fact that it is haunted, please don't leave your toddlers or 2 year Olds alone in their rooms at night.
