Wait Listed Candidate Clat 2014

How is the selection process conducted in CLAT?

The selection process is done through a merit cum preference allotment list…. So what happens is, the person who scored the highest marks in CLAT, i.e. CLAT AIR 1, the CLAT body looks what was the first preference (say NLSIU) of the person who got AIR 1. Now, the unresererved seats in NLSIU are 60, and if everyone from AIR 1–60 had first preference NLSIU, when it will come to allot a seat to AIR 61 and his first preference is NLSIU, the CLAT body, since all the seats have been filed up, will look at the second preference of that person, which will mostly be NALSAR, then he/she will be alloted NALSAR, and so on- so forth, all candidates are alloted seats in such fashion. After a candidate is alloted a NLU, you are expected to pay counselling fee which will be later transferred to NLU you finally take admission in. Also, when you pay the counselling fee, you have an option of locking your seat or seeking a upgrade (as per your individual preference list)

Will SBI release waiting list for clerk 2018 and what are my chance if I scored .5 less than the cut off?

Hi,Yes, there will definitely be a wait list. As per the SBI officials, “A wait list of upto 50% of vacancies (State-category wise) will be maintained. Candidates will be released from this waitlist on quarterly basis against non-joining and resignation out of the current batch only, subject to the candidates securing minimum qualifying marks as may be stipulated by the Bank for selection. This wait list will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of final result.”As this is an official statement, it’s certain that a wait list will be issued. Also, you need to secure the minimum cut off marks for SBI Clerk as per your category without which you can not be considered for the subsequent recruitment procedure. Even if you are .5 marks behind the minimum qualifying marks, you will not qualify the exam, thus would not be eligible for recruitment.

My daughter secured 88th rank in AILET-2016. What are the chances of her getting admission into NLU Delhi?

If my general rank is 50,000 in JEE Mains and the OBC rank is 12,000 then, for admission in NIT or IIIT which rank will be considered?

Dude now the complete power of offering seats is under JOSAA.As per the rules you are requested to apply for one or more courses in one or more institutions. There after JOSAA will try to allot your highest priority course. The process is it will check your highest priority course ranks .If you are able to get it in the general rank, then seat will be offered in general category. If you aren't getting under the general category but if you have a reservation then they will check whether u are getting it under reservation category. If you are getting the seat then you will be offered under reservation quota i.e. OBC/SC/ST rank.Even if u aren't getting under reservation quota then they will proceed to the next priority i.e. your 2nd option. Then this whole process continues until you get a seat. But for damn sure they will try to give a seat of higher priority.NOTE THAT HIGHER PRIORITY MEANS ACCORDING TO YOUR ORDER OF APPLYING OPTIONS, BUT NOT ACCORDING TO RANKING OF THE COLLEGEI think all your doubts are clarified and hope u got a clean idea about allotment of seats. If u still have doubts please feel free to write me.
