Walking Dead Show Is Gareth Like The New Governor

What do you think of 'Alpha', a new character in The Walking Dead (TV Series)? Are we facing another 'Negan' group, only wilder?

Love the actress, HATE the character. Just like Negan; love the actor, HATE the character. And by hate, I don’t mean a “love to hate” kind of thing, like with Meryl, I mean, hate because it’s a totally unnecessary, RIDICULOUS character. Negan has NO redeeming qualities. People keep mentioning how he doesn’t condone rape…well HE commits rape! Or at least committed rape, before he went to jail. I don’t see Alpha having any redeeming qualities either. Even the Governor, whom I hated, mostly because of the LOUSY acting of the guy that played him, had a couple of redeeming qualities. Seeing characters with NO redeeming qualities WHATSOEVER, not only BORES me, it ANGERS me, and makes me want to turn the TV off. Bring back some characters like Meryl, that at least have a FEW redeeming qualities! As far as being a group like Negan, I think not. Both leaders (Negan & Alpha) have NO redeeming qualities, but they RUN their groups completely differently. Alpha said herself, that her group are animals.

What are The Walking Dead villains in order?

For all seasons, individual episodes, issues and volumes, novels and games, the Zombies are presented as the main villains, at first, and afterwards just mostly an obstacle to overcome. The true villains are ourselves, “What We Become”. I assume you want the human antagonists, so I'll provide them, both comics and show. Obviously SPOILERS ahead if you are not caught up (end of S7/end of Vol. 28) in either series.Volume 1/Season 1 & 2 - Shane is the first antagonist of both worlds.Volume 3 & 4/Season 3 (ep. 1–4) - the prisoners (Thomas/Tomas and Andrew for both worlds, Dexter also for comics) are the next human threat.Volumes 5–8/Season 3 & 4 (ep. 5–8) - The Governor is presented as the first major antagonist, as well as the town of Woodbury, with some notable members such as Gabe, Martinez, Shumpert, Mitch, etc.Volume 10/Season 4 (ep. 11–16) - the Marauders/Claimers show up for a short while, which brings Rick down his darkest path…Volume 11/Season 4 (ep. 15 & 16) & 5 (ep. 1–3) - The Hunters are the next biggest threat since the Governor, and arguably major antagonists.Season 5 (ep. 4–8) - Dawn and those Atlanta police people.Volume 12 & 13/Season 5 (ep. 12–16) - Pete Anderson as the abusive husband in Alexandria.Volume 13/Season 5 (ep. 16) & 6 (ep. 1–3) - The D.C Scavengers/The Wolves came along for a while, leading the herd of zombies to Alexandria, which was the main threat for Volume 14 and Season 6, episodes 7–9.Volumes 16–21/Season 6 (from ep. 6) to now and until, presumably, the end of Season 8 - Negan and the Saviors, which are the second (or third) major antagonists of both worlds, leading to an All-Out War.Season 7 (from ep. 8/9/10) - Jadis and those people at the Junkyard, all of whom will presumably be defeated in All-Out War next season.Volume 22–27 (and maybe later if they return) - the Whisperers, led by Alpha and later Beta, brining Rick into yet another war with more heavy losses, serving as the third (or fourth) major antagonists of the comic book world. So, overall there have been 11 antagonist/villains of both the main show and main comic series combined, with only 3 or 4 being major antagonists.

The Governor vs Negan?

The Governor is the bigger badass. Negan's horrible because he killed Glenn and is a complete asshole ( an entertaining asshole but still) The Governor is one of the best villains in comics or possibly in any genre. let's look at the things he's done. He cut off Rick's hand. Repeatedly raped Michonne. Forced Glenn to listen.Had people fight in zombie gladiator tournaments. Had a zombie head television. chained his zombified niece. Killed Tyresse. Was the cause of the prison seige which killed Lori, Judith, Axel, Billy , Alice, Hershel, Patricia, I think Negan's going to definitely give the governor a run for his money i'd be really impressed if he is a better villain. But for now no.

When is the Uk/Ireland showing season 3 of the walking dead?

It was already shown in the UK on FOX (formerly FX).

Channel 5 have not officially announced when they will air it, but it is quite likely it will start on July 2nd - once they have finished repeating season 2.

The Walking Dead VS Sons of Anarchy?

A lot of people told me that if I liked The Walking Dead, I'd like Sons of Anarchy. And so I started watching it and it's good...but I'm 7 episodes in and it still hasn't hooked me the way TWD immediately did.

I know a lot of people think TWD's season 2 was lame but I've liked every season so far. The show seems to be a great mix of character drama and developement AND action. No offense to Sons of Anarchy, but it seems to be dragging WAY more slowly than The Walking Dead ever has.

The walking dead TV series... who is your favorite character?

Daryl is still my favorite character in the series. He makes me feel safe :)

I think Andrea could have lived..

Heartbreaking scene would definitely be when Sophia walking out of the barn as a Walker

I wish they would show a little more story about Morgan

Can't wait for Season 4!

What are the main differences between The Walking Dead comics and the TV show?

Potential spoilers for the walking dead comics as well as TV show.To begin with comics are way ahead of the TV show and even more depressing than that.Comics are way ahead of the show in terms of storyline. The ongoing season 8 is about the all out war whereas the comics have moved two major story arcs ahead. As I mentioned that the comics are depressing. A heavy support in the favour of the fact is that Judith dies along with Lori when governor attacked rick and group at the prison. The governor in the show looks like just a man who has been affected by his situations but for the governor of comics you will not feel bad for him for a second as he is cruel as hell.Andrea in show is not liked by a lot og people. But Andrea in comics is going to be one of your favourite character.Carol in the comics unlike the one in the TV show is very weak and ends up killing herself.Sophia is alive. Carl is alive. Carl has a very significant role in the whisperer arc after all out war ends. The whole idea of whisperers will blow your mind. They are the humans wearing walker skins and living among them .Current story arc of the comics is very interesting and has opened a new set possibilities for the show. The latest volume goes by the name of new world order.

In The Walking Dead (TV series), what would happen if a group of soldiers formed a group and Negan couldn't extort them at all?

Depends on when Negan encountered them.Early on? I believe Negan would have thrown in with the troops, and then done his damnedest to rise within the ranks and run the group. And he would either rise as high as third or fourth in command, or been stopped and executed for his hostility. At the point when we meet him in the story? There would be some initial skirmishes, they would have evaluated the risk was too great to fight the soldiers, and he’d negotiate an alliance with the group. Assuming the soldiers didn’t wipe out his compound.I believe encountering inadequate resistance is the only reason Negan rose as far as he did. I also believe Ricks group was the greatest threat Negan had ever encountered. An entire outpost, utterly wiped out? Negan pulled out all the stops to confront that.
