I want tattoos but am scared I'll regret it. Do I go for it?
I was scared I’d regret my tattoos the first time I was getting one too. I had always wanted them. I think what’s important is that whatever you get is important to YOU. It means something. Don’t go to some ghetto place where they are going to charge $100.00 for a piece that should really be $600.00. If you’re going to have it on your body for the rest of your life, just spend the money and make sure it’s well done.A big reason people “regret” tattoos is because their family or friends don’t like the fact that you have them or maybe they are okay with tattoos, just not the ones you got, or if they are visible, etc. But it is YOUR body and YOU decide what goes on it. I like to think of the body as a blank canvas that we get to be creative with and express our life journeys in that way. All of my tattoos mean something very special to me whether other people understand it or not.I thought having a tattoo would be intense and that I would regret that it’s there but now I have 6 tattoos (a couple pretty big ones) and I don’t even notice them. Once you have them, it’s just not as much of a big deal or as noticeable as you thought it would be. Which is why people always say once you get one tattoo, you’re going to get multiple. I don’t think I’ve ever met a single person with one tattoo that doesn’t at least plan on getting another one. And I’d also rather spend a great amount of money on what’s going on my body the rest of my life than some china cabinet full of fancy shit I’m never going to use. Every day I’m reminded of my struggles that I have overcome just by the ink on my body and that makes my life so much more beautiful.Your body is beautiful and if you want to put a bunch of art on it then do it. Fuck everyone else and do what makes you happy.(Mic drop )
Scared to get another tattoo. But should I be?
So I already have 5 tattoos. I'm just so scared to get anymore work done because I don't want to risk getting one infected and having to go through all that mess. One of my last ones got infected and now I'm just scared to death to get another one. I really love tattoos and I hate that it has to be this way, can someone please tell me if I should be scared or what I need to do in order to keep my tattoo from getting infected for sure
I am afraid of passing out while getting a tattoo?
I don't think it will happen, but it DOES happen, so what if it will happen to me? I'm getting a little heart on my boob, and "Imagine" in four languages on my shoulder. I am not scared of pain, I just really don't want to pass out. How can I prevent passing out?

So, since you want it bad, its better to get it done while you know what you are getting.Find the design, work on it to make it your personal unique design. Print it. Do you research to find the best tattoo studio and artist in your area and then consult your design with him/her. Get the details and book the appointment for the tattoo day. Now, you will have time to change your mind and not to get one done now. But it will surely be wiser to get it when you are sober and sure what you are getting. Lot of people get a tattoo on a day they are feeling low or rough. They get the tattoo as to vent out and later to regret what they did.Getting addicted to tattoos is not same as being addicted to narcotics. It is more of a personal way to express and the love for the art of Tattoo. Once you will get what you want, very likely you will then be more selective in what you want as your next tattoo… I am pretty sure, you may not stop at one tattoo but the experience of it will make you a lot “tattoo wise” and you will be wiser about your next tattoo.I compare getting tattoo like opening a Nice bottle of Wine.. once open… there is no closing back and you gotta finish it.
I want a tramp stamp (lower back tattoo) but I'm scared about what people will say because its known as a tramp stamp. What should I do?
I agree with both Quorans who have already answered.If you are worried about what other people think of you, then body modifications are definitely not for you, especially ones that are visible. I don't mean to discourage you, but the fact is a lot of people don't approve of tattoos and piercings, and they will tell you so. You need to have a thick skin, and be getting modifications for yourself without any concern for what others thing of them. Especially tattoos, which are pretty permanent. People can be really rude, and if it's something that will get to you, then probably best to reconsider.That being said you shouldn't care what people think of your modifications, and that shouldn't factor into your decision. Certainly people's bias is unwarranted and unfair regarding that placement, but so it is towards tattoos and piercings in general. I have a septum piercing, which is probably the one I get the most comments on. "You're so pretty, why would you ruin it with that?" and "I could tie a rope to it and pull you around!" etc. And it's a dainty and super feminine piece of jewelry! People have no filter. Do what you want, but also be prepared for judgment and be able to handle it!

Ok, so I just want to hear some opinions I guess. I want a tattoo. I just love the unique styles. The issue is that I'm very 'fickle', if you will. I've never liked anything in particular for that long and I get sick of things quickly. So what do you think? -Thanks.

If this is the girl you intend to spend the rest of ur life with, and she is dead set against it, why do you still want one? If you do, then get one, but it just might cause alot of trouble for you, and then you will regret it. maybe go get a temporary tattoo, like a henna tattoo, and w/o telling ur gf or anyone, see what happens and the reactions and if it is accepted, then go get a permanent one done. dont listen to what these fools say, tellin u not to get a tattoo, if u want one go get one. i have a tattoo on the left side of my chest that was my first tattoo. i was scared **** tho lol. but its not as bad as i thought. its nothing like i expected. it hurts but everyone takes pain differently. so it might hurt more to others than it will hurt u in the same spot.i was afraid and now i got 4 in a year. once u start it and he begins it will hurt but u can handle it trust me. go see for your self
