Was Eminem Actually Asked For A Signature In A Restroom

Kansas City is famous for a number of things: Barbecue, Jazz, the World War 1 museum, trains, and technology.Barbecue: My favorite is probably Joe's Kansas City (formerly Oklahoma Joe's), but Q39 is a great place if you are looking for more of a sit down place.  At Joe's you have to get either a Z-Man or ribs, though everything is delicious. Expect to wait in 45+ minute lines though, they are usually out the door! At Q39, get the burnt ends or ribs.Jazz: Here are a number of Jazz events going on right soon in KC: Upcoming Jazz Events in Kansas City and if you have time, go stop by the Jazz Club for a truly amazing experience. The World War 1 Museum and Memorial is a great place for all ages and you really learn a lot about the horror and tragedy of World War 1 and what it was like to fight in the war. The two things I remember are the poppy field that you walk over to get into the gallery and the quote from a soldier in the war, [sic] "People think hell is fire, but I'll tell you what hell is, hell is mud." It was very moving.Trains: Go take a trip to Union Station and Crown Center. They are great places for all kids. You get to see the train station and what it was like in its hay day. If you want to see the train yard, head on over to Argentine and take a look. It is quite amazing. It is the biggest freight train yard in the country, except maybe behind Chicago, IL. It is very debatable. Technology: This may surprise you, but KC is actually one of these places for tech startups and is very accepting to new technology ideas. We are sometimes considered the new Silicon Valley of the Prairie, AKA the Silicon Prairie. Baseball: This one just recently showed up in the past two years after the Royals made it to the World Series for 2 years straight, but Kansas City is a great baseball town. 800,000 citizens came downtown for the parade, which is almost the whole city. It was awesome. Everyone loves the Royals which is a sharp change from a few years ago when everyone hated them because they kept losing.
