Today in physics class we had to get up in front of the class to share our motion "stories". Right before I began speaking, a very good looking girl sitting close to wear I was standing said, "I like your shirt," and I responded with a quick, "thank you". I was very happy though because this is the first time and especially by someone that is so good looking! I felt ashamed afterwards for not giving her a nicer response but then again I had to start sharing my story so she probably understood...but it still feels like a missed opportunity. Well, what can you do? Anyways, I was wondering what you guys think. What does this mean if a girl compliments you like this? As a side note, she is the joyful kind of funny girl that laughs often. I think her complimenting is not a very rare thing anyways. I have a feeling this is normal for her to compliment like this. That depends…what kind of compliment are you willing to say?If it is the, “your shirt looks cool” women might just smile and walk away feeling good.If it is the “You are a very bright woman” women will most likely smile at you.All compliments are nice, except for the sexual ones. But, one thing for sure, even if you say a compliment to a woman, she won’t immediately start to like you. In the movies, it may seem that way because movies are inclined to entertain you not make you bored.On the other hand, a woman is more likely to observe you to see what kind of guy you are rather than to fall head over heels at a compliment you give to them. In addition, I can guarantee, if you say I love to you a woman you like, she will most likely feel a little awkward and then run away from you rather than towards you (if she does not feel the same at the moment). Personally, it happened to me over text. A guy I was trying out for an online friendship admitted his feelings when I just started to get to know him and it turned me off and made me want to run as far away as possible. And of course, I quit the friendship a few weeks afterwards.

If you notice this better give a few months and do not date this person. That can be toxic and mess up everything.
