Was Judy Garland Just Playing Victim

Is it true that the day Judy Garland died a tornado hit Kansas?

On June 22, 1969, Garland was found dead by Deans in the bathroom of their rented Chelsea, London house. The coroner, Gavin Thursdon, stated at the inquest that the cause of death was "an incautious self-overdosage" of barbiturates; her blood contained the equivalent of ten 1.5-grain (97 mg) Seconal capsules. Thursdon stressed that the overdose had been unintentional and that there was no evidence to suggest she had committed suicide. Garland's autopsy showed that there was no inflammation of her stomach lining and no drug residue in her stomach, which indicated that the drug had been ingested over a long period of time, rather than in one dose. Her death certificate stated that her death had been "accidental." Even so, a British specialist who had attended Garland said she had been living on borrowed time due to cirrhosis of the liver. Garland had turned 47 just 12 days prior to her death. Her Wizard of Oz co-star Ray Bolger commented at Garland's funeral, "She just plain wore out." An estimated 20,000 people lined up for hours at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel to view her body. Garland was interred in Ferncliff Cemetery, in Hartsdale, New York.

I need a quote about staying true to yourself?

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

Are gay men part of the patriarchy too - like gay politians?

"Are gay men part of the patriarchy too - like gay politians?"

--Unfortunately, there are "some" gay men that support patriarchy and the oppression that comes with it. They throw other gays under the bus to help their careers for various reasons, but mostly because they are greedy for money.

3rd wave feminists and gay rights activists help each other, even though there are radicals on both sides that don't necessarily care for each other. It's mostly the mainstreams that have each other's backs.

Gay fathers would have to have rights to begin with for alleged unfair custody laws to have any impact on them. As it stands now, gay fathers are at risk for being completely discriminated against.

"Can feminism really say it supports gay rights ?"

--Yes. I've seen many feminists groups in protests with LGBT rights activists fighting the patriarchy.

Everyone always assumes that I am gay when I am not. I am sick and tired of people thinking I am gay. How can I change this and be more macho so family, friends, and strangers don’t view me as gay?

It’s not what all think that matters, it’s what you think matters.People around you are sitting to tag you or categorize you. It feels good to put everyone in some or the other compartment. If you are straight, then just be sure and confident of who you’re. Macho is not about looking or behaving masculine. It’s about been a gentleman and treating people around you with respect. If you really want to get rid of this tag, then make sure you’ve analyzed following things:Watch your action - Know which actions give them a wrong signal.Fashion - It’s a general perception that fashion is related to gays or girls. Sadly, it’s not true, and many straight men become victim of it. Watch your fashion sense. Make sure you’re not dressing up in flamboyant colours. Wear things that suits you or would make you look masculine.Expressions - Men are not supposed to express themselves easily. They’re rough and tough. If you’re an expressive type, would recommend you to hold of to your expression or channelize them properly. There is always a way out to this. However, if you ask me personally, I would recommend you to be yourself. It’s hard to be natural.Hope this helps.
