Was The Wii Just A Cheap Pc Dressed Up Like A Mac

What computer/laptop should I get to use with my Wacom drawing tablet?

If you like Apple products, get a Mac otherwise you’ll get more for your money with a Windows machine (or even better, a Linux box). It’s not worth the learning curve of going to a new OS for hardware that will work on either platform. In truth, the tablet doesn’t matter so much as the software you’ll be using with the tablet. So long as the computer matches the minimum requirements for the tablet, you’re good. The software’s requirements will be much more unforgiving. That being said, unless you’re doing 3D rendering, most drawing programs aren’t that intensive. As Mahi said, any gaming machine would be overkill. If you’re only doing 2D drawing RAM is more important than GRAM as video cards really only process polygons used in 3D rendering.

What platform is best for gaming: Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, PC, Mac, or Linux?

First- multiplatsPC. Forget Xbox One or PS4, nothing can come close to it. Cheaper games, and you can choose as many benefits as you want- no money wasted where you don’t want it. And a lot of games have controller support anyway. If you really vastly prefer console gaming, as I indeed do, Xbox One is (at this time) the best option- great price, great controller, and practically the same library as the PS4. However, PS4 Neo may change that, if you’re prepared to buy a PSVR headset that rivals the price of the console itself.Wii U is absolute trash for multi-plats.Exclusives-Again, PC looking pretty solid. It’s accumulated a lot over the decades, which none of the consoles can rival in quantity, after only three and a half years at most. A lot of free exclusives, a lot of great exclusives, and a couple that are both.Next best is Wii U for exclusives. Nintendo knows how to make a great game, and this gen is no exception (although a lot is shovelware.) It also has access to some great old titles through Virtual Console.Xbox One and PS4 are a LONG way back for exclusives. Far behind the Wii U. However, which one has exclusives you care more about is a personal matter.Overall recommendations-1. PC.2. Wii U.3. Xbox One.4. PS4.I put Xbox One and PS4 below Wii U, as PC completely destroys anything else for multiplats.

Can watching videos on youtube give you viruses on the Wii?

My parents (I still live with them) have a Wii and they won't let me get on youtube or the internet because they think it'll give the Wii or the TV a virus. I keep trying to convince them that you can't get a virus on the Wii and they won't believe me. So can you please give me some HONEST answers. Thank you

How can I connect my Wii Udraw to my macbook pro?

Short answer is no.

Long answer is maybe, but you'd have to shell out a lot more than a cheap wacom bamboo. You can connect using the bluetooth, but the commands the udraw outputs are different than what normal computers understand. For Windows, there is a program called GlovePie (http://glovepie.org/glovepie.php) but I am unsure as to whether there exists a port of this or a similar one.

Besides, it won't work as good as a normal tablet, and it will take more money and effort than just buying the good stuff immediately.

You can find cheap used bamboos and even intuos on ebay for less than 100$!

How can I use my old Wii as a Gamecube controller adapter for my PC?

The amount of effort required, unless you’re a hobbyist that just wants to do this for the sake of doing this, is worth far more than the $20 required to just… Buy a 4 port adapter. The process would involve disassembling the Wii, hoping the Gamecube ports were on a board that could be separated from the rest of the system, soldering USB cables onto the connections, write your own drivers, make a casing for the board… Or you could just buy the $20 adapter that’s on the market and download the drivers that were already written for it.

Whats the difference between the sims 3 wii and pc?

Generally speaking, the console version of Sims games are crappier. Don't waste your money; the PC ones have a lot more replay value. The Amazon reviews are mostly very negative and say the game is EXTREMELY glitchy. It even broke some people's Wiis.

But since you asked, here are the main differences:

Features of The Sims 3 (Wii) not included in PC:

Karma system
Weather
"Life Moments" minigame
Exclusive skate park community lot
Sims can surf and swim in the beaches
Different, "beach-theme" careers
Multiplayer mode
"Direct controls"
Random, seemingly illogical deaths of people all over town. People report finding gravestones everywhere after just a few days of gameplay.
Glitches that make your Sims unable to eat or move, eventually killing them

The Sims 3 features not included in The Sims 3 (Wii):

Good graphics, or at least ones that don't look like they came from PS1
Longer lifespans (default 90 days instead of just 50; you can also adjust your sim's lifespan)
Building your own houses
Custom content (like game modifications and custom clothing)
Expansion packs
More than one town
The ability to turn aging off
Buggy, but at least you can get patches and bug fixes, either EA or fan made
Babies. When sims in the Wii game give birth, they "bring home a five-year-old."
The ability to change your clothing or hairstyle
The ability to create multiple people living in the same neighborhood

Just buy the PC one. You'll be glad you did. It doesn't look like this Wii version is worth the money. Read the Amazon reviews if you don't believe me.
