What do you think about Trump saying he'd offer Elizabeth Warren a DNA test if her heritage came up in a debate?

I think it’s a stupid thing to say. Nothing new for Trump.Trump says that Warren falsely claimed to be a native American in order to obtain a high-paying job at Harvard. However, though Warren does claim some native American ancestry, the evidence that she used this ancestry to gain this or any other job is just not there (FACT CHECK: Did Elizabeth Warren Lie About Her Native American Heritage to Land a Job at Harvard?). Such being the case, the fact that she claims native American ancestry is irrelevant.Anyway, despite what Trump may think, Warren’s claim to be partly native is not implausible. Many Americans — including blonde-haired white people - can claim at least a drop or two of Native American blood. I’m a person as white as Warren and I have taken a DNA test that claimed I had a tiny percentage (1–2% or so) of American Indian ancestry, though I’m not sure I believe it. So it’s very possible that if she did take such a test, she might well find evidence to back her claim.But even if she didn’t, who cares? As shown above, there’s no evidence she ever exploited her alleged ancestry to get a position she would not have gotten otherwise. I sincerely doubt that every single American who claims Native American ancestry actually has it. If Warren didn’t, that would just make her another person who is wrong about her ancestry.I think you would really have to have drunk the Trump Koolaid to think Trump’s got any kind of issue here.
