Was Wondering If Flower Girl Dresses Can Be Dyed

Is it possible to dye a white flower girl dress ivory?

What is the dress made of? If it is made of polyester, or if it is not washable, then nobody anywhere can dye it for you.

If the dress is washable and is made of a dyeable fiber such as silk or rayon, then you can mail it to a company such as Spectrum Custom Fabric Dyeing to have them dye it for you. See the link below for contact information for this and other custom dyeing companies. None of the companies listed are located in San Diego.

What to do with a flower girl dress after the wedding ?r=1246809050?

My daughter has plenty of dresses including a "candlelight" colored dress- she was actually suppose to wear for the wedding but it wasn't 'white'. So I have a stark white flower girl dress and sash and I don't know what to do with it. My daughter hated the dress and especially the sash- so there isn't a real need to keep it. I looked on ebay and the market is kinda cold for flowergirl dresses.

Would most brides prefer to buy or rent a wedding dress? Why?

I think that most women do not have full information about all of their options. If I could not sew gowns and didn’t know others who could sew them, I might opt for a rental if I was young and on a modest budget or wanted a dress that could not be remade or easily sold. I don't believe in keeping a gown to try to force a future bride into it. Nevertheless, I have the knowledge and means to get what I like now. I'm also not a standard size, so looking for a previously loved dress on eBay or another site wouldn't work for me.A custom sewn gown fromviously a private designer or a specialty seamstress who is not a huge celebrity like Vera Wang can be done for less than a lot of the dresses one sees at bridal botiques. I would rather have gorgeous high quality silk in the exact style that I want and made to my exact measurements than a name brand “ready-to-wear” gown that is altered from a generic dress size to sort of fit me. No one sees the label/brand when the gown is being worn. I live in the Dallas metropolitan area where there are places with great selections of specialty fabrics available for custom bridal including dozens of shades from purest white to rich ivory, with or without beading. After the big day, a dress made of a natural fiber like silk can be dyed to another color and altered if desired for use as evening wear. There are fairly simple things that can take a strapless white wedding gown to a stunning evening gown with off the shoulder sleeves added or bodice and skirt changes. I would much rather spend $3000 for a custom silk or satin gown that I can wear for years after it is dyed and altered than to spend $1500 on a one use polyester gown with a cute name on the label. Of course gowns can be sewn for much less, and I have helped women who started early and wanted to learn enough to make most of the things for their weddings on a tight budget. There are so many places to buy or get dresses sewn relatively inexpensively where I live that I don't hear much about brides renting dresses.

Hippies are known for their tie-dye attire, Native American jewelry, and bell bottom pants. Men grew out their hair and facial hair, such as goatees and mustaches. Women usually went places without a bra and no to little makeup. Both genders walked either on their bare feet or used sandals.

What color underwear do girls wear?

One of the lovely things about girl’s underwear is how colorful it can be. Panties come in solid colors (like you see above) and also in patterns like flowers, stripes, and polka dots.Panties can also be purchased in black, white, and neutral shades like tan.I choose the color I’d like to wear on any given day based on my mood and whichever color catches my eye when I open my pantry drawer:Typically, women have far more color choices in underwear than do men. Maybe that’s because women are more colorful than men :).We can wear white if we’re wearing white pants, and black with black leggings or jeans. We can wear pink if we’re in the mood to feel extra-girly, and purple if - like me - that’s a girl’s favorite color. You could look at a color chart and find a pair of panties in almost every color imaginable:As the years pass and you have an opportunity to see women getting undressed, you’ll be surprised at how many different colors and styles you’ll see.Something to look forward to :)

My 6 year old wants her hair dyed blonde?

try lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide mist. I wouldn't use the harsh chemicals on a kid that young. Maybe buy her a wig to play dress up.

What colors could I wear with a silver dress? I have prom coming up and the dress I’ve chosen is completely silver so I was wondering what other color could my date and I wear?

Your accessories choice depends on your intent.Do you want to coordinate with your date in a chic manner? Blue looks fantastic with silver. Almost any shade but a rich cobalt blue looks striking. Your accessories would be shoes, bag, and jewelry. Blue flowers are hard to find and dyed flowers are tacky. Your date could accessorize with blue pocket silk, tie, even socks with a cool colored suit or tux (never brown!). You would also do best to avoid warm colored accessories with a silver dress - just too much of a clash.Do you want to emphasize your body? Stick with neutral colored accessories. Taupe is ideal but nude is close, or darker, slightly warmer shades for ladies of color. You could also wear gold or silver accessories to continue and emphasize the metallic/neutral theme but taupe or a neutral close to your skin color is preferable. Hope this helps.

What color flower corsage to go with apple green colored dress with black accents?

Ok - for the sake of being equally graphic, I'll send you to a color wheel site.

The exact opposite color of that apple green dress would be a soft red-violet or lavender colored flower. Opposite colors vibrate off one another and seem to be brighter.

Red is the opposite of true green, but red may be a bit much.

With that fresh green color - deep yellows would be beautiful.

Remaining in a similar color family, light to moderate blues would also be beautiful.

White roses and carnations that have their stems freshly cut - then put into water that has food coloring in it will draw the color into themselves and turn the color of the food colored water. He could get roses or carnations "dyed" to the color of her dress that are trimmed with VERY THIN black ribbon accents and baby's breath.

Flowers the color of the dress would allow for the jewelry to be the focus. Flowers the exact opposite of the color of the dress will make themselves the focus. Flowers that are to the right or left of the apple green on the color wheel will simply compliment the dress.

I hope they have a wonderful time! Peace!

Are there Turquoise flowers?

you can get white flowers and have them put silver glitter on the flowers. and the can dye flowers if you put a white flower in water and put food coloring in it the flowers turn colors. but you could even do white flowers with the silver glitter and have black and blue ribbon (depending on what this is for) or white and if you dye the flowers black and silver ribbon or just white and dyed flowers with silver glitter on both with black ribbon. so yes, you can make turquoise flowers.

i really hope i helped and that you have fun at prom!
