Wat Videogame Do U Like Better

Which video game do you like better: Walking Dead Or The Last Of Us?

Yeah now that I think about it, The Last Of Us was better. I can't choose between Clem or Ellie because Clem is so cute and such a strong girl, but Ellie is a freaking badass swearing chick. IT'S SO HARD TO CHOOSE!!

How old do you have to be to create a video game?

You do know that making games is very hard , right? You can make Indie games even when you're 14 , but as I said before , it is very hard. Look at Desura , they have a community of Indie Makers.

How do gamers get better? Do they constantly play the same video game to practice or am I missing something?

I’m decent at shooters because I’ve mostly been playing shooters since I was a young wee lad at the age of 8.The only way that I got better at shooters was to keep playing, playing, playing and playing. All different kinds of shooters from Blackshot to WolfTeam to CSGO to Overwatch. All these shooter games have different variations of gameplay but they all always have one thing in common, you gotta aim and shoot. That’s how I got better at my accuracy and reaction times, they have been built up over the course of 10 years now. Of course this only applies to shooters and not other genres of games, but the same logic applies. If you were to focus playing a MOBA such as League Of Legends, if you move to other MOBA games such as Heroes of the Storm or Dota 2, it will be easier to pick those games in the same genre up if you already have experience previously.IMO, getting better at a video game requires you to lose, a lot. It will take time and effort for you to get used to the game and subsequently improve. One way that I’ve always felt useful in getting better in a game is to watch a professional play it. There is a reason why the top Fortnite streamers on Twitch are incredibly popular. Their streams can both be educational and entertaining as well.So the answer to your question on whether gamers get better by playing a game constantly is in my opinion, a yes.

Gears of War 2 video game?

How many people are waiting for it?
How many people are willing to stand in line for it?
WHat percentage of those fans of Gears of WAr do u think will be women?

Video games or movies, what do you prefer and why?

Both are good.. But here's the catchVideo game is activity. Watching movies is passivity.Let me explain..Video GamesIn video games, you take actions. You get outputs by doing so. For example, you throw a grenade (action) and you see your enemies burn (outputs). And then, further actions are being taken. The whole thing is interactive. And once you add stories to it, it gets even more immersive!MoviesIf Christopher Nolan decides to kill the protagonist, there's nothing you can do. Well, you can always curse him, but that won't change anything! So for preference, I will go for video games most of the time. It feels good in a weird way to see something happen in a virtual world due to the actions you've taken with your mouse and keyboard or game controllers. Not to mention the RPG games like Witcher 3, where your decisions and actions will change the story and the outcome of it!It's like being Christopher Nolan in a mythical land!!Now that's awesome!!!

Which game do you like better, War Thunder or World of Warplanes?

World of Warplanes. It’s more arcade game with a lot of fun and action and much easier. The maximum game round is 12 minutes, but it usually less. But it has a lot of bugs, so if you are ok with bugs it is better. There are many bots flying, because there are not enough people.War Thunder is more realistic, there are not only planes, but tanks. Maps are much bigger, planes fly more realistic and harder, same about tanks even in “arcade” mode. Both of them don’t have many people, WoWP because of bugs that very rarely fixed (and when a patch comes out they introduce new bugs, and they are not just cosmetic - it usually black screens, freezes, crashes, disconnects and missions that impossible to complete; usually you can start it again and respawn in the same game; Also you need a powerful CPU, because the game is badly optimized to use a video card/memory), and War Thunder - because it’s too hard and boring.Edit: Also War Thunder has very confusing interface maybe because it has planes, tanks and I think also helicopters now. And they keep historical names for ammo which confuse even more people.

I want to be a video game designer?

College has nothing to do with it. Every college teaches programming and probably even a video game design class. It's not a super high-society of programming group or anything.

Most of my friends think they can "make the best video game ever". But It doesn't mean anything. If you really want to make video games and think about it all the time (like me) then you might be cut out for it.

But you MUST LOVE ALGORITHMS. I could have sex with algorithms- haha. Try programming some game with adobe flash and see if you like it. It's tedious some times, complicated, and you'll want to pull your hair out debugging at times. But that's where I started. It's a good base for someone coming in without much programming experience because you can see what you are doing immediately. Unlike java where you just write and write and write and write, and the graphics are one of the last things you implement so you don't see anything other then a black screen and text until near the end. But if you're cut out for it, it's the hours sitting at a computer typing away at 100 words per minute that you will love.

It's like- your brain is like crunching out hundreds of scenarios and problems a second while your fingers are trying to keep up. There is a good description for you. Not trying to deter you. It's fun for me :)

What video game genre do you prefer the most? Why?

RTSThere’s nothing more satisfying than constructing a massive army and watching it destroy your enemies in a huge climactic battle. Sure, it depends a lot more on reaction than other types of strategy games, such as TBS, but I prefer it because war isn’t turn based. A lot of war is won and lost by how an army reacts to an enemy. Some favorites are Age of Empires and Star Wars: Empire at War.FPSI know FPS a lot of times gets flak because of it’s unrealistic and arcadey style, but it’s just good fun, especially with friends. I’m not a big fan of playing online because I think a lot of people online take it too seriously, but get a few friends together and blast some aliens or each other and I’ll have a great time. It’s even better if you can work together to take out the enemy. Call of Duty is fun, but my favorite is Halo.RacingI love cars, and I love them driving fast. There are many, many racing games out there and a lot of them are meh, but a few stand out as truly unique or just straight up fun. I prefer street racing to circuit racing because it feels much more dangerous and thrilling. Games like Burnout and Split/Second add intentional crashing to the mix, which turns up the intensity. Then you have games like Grid 2 which is a simulation-arcade hybrid, and a very fun one at that.
