Dance helps remove the mind/body split that is becoming more and more prevalent in contemporary society, especially with the growing ubiquity of personal digital devices. To go further with the previous statement, building a relationship with one's own body is highly beneficial as it deepens a person's experience of everything and helps people detect problems within sooner. Even though the world looks flat from our point of view we know that it is in fact quite round. Even though from your perspective of life it appears that it's hopeless and pointless (I can relate to that feeling more than you know) the reality is that life is meant to feel magical, like a poem. I'm not there yet but I'm on my way. I've had glimpses of truth that can result from changing your belief patterns. You were conditioned to see the world how you do now but knowing that means you can change your belief patterns any way that you want. It's your choice.I guess that wasn't brief at all.
