Ways To Get A Great Summer Body Tips And Rules

Could I get into the sab summer intensive?

I have my Audition for sab in a week and I was wondering what the chances are for me getting in.

I am 13 and have been told I have the body by every teacher I have had. I am "4 10" and 67 pounds. I used to be a gymnast so I am also very muscular. Based on this do I have the right body for sab?

I also know sab is balanchine and is known for fast combinations which I have a hard time with because I am trained in Russian technique. Will this lessen my chances by a lot? Could I still get in if I had the body?

What are the auditions like? Will they give fast combinations?

Any help will be appreciated
-thanks!

How can I lose 30-40 pounds over the summer?

So I am going to Disney World next year in April with my family and best friend. We will be going swimming a lot and I feel uncomfortable in bathing suits because of my body. I really want to lose some weight so I can wear cute bathing suits and feel good about myself. I don't just want to look good for other people, I want to look good for myself and be healthy but that is hard when I live with people who constantly buy unhealthy foods. Please help and give me some advice/tips

What is the best way to stay healthy?

1. Wake Up Early"The early morning has gold in its mouth," said Benjamin Franklin. You would have read this advice a zillion times, but trust me it works, it really does. One very significant benefit of waking up early is reduced stress level. When you rise early, it eliminates the need to rush in the morning. You can then start your day on an optimistic note and such positivity often stays with you throughout the day. Also When you are in harmony with the nature's cycle, nature will bless you with good health.2. Move your BodyKeep yourself physically active. You can play a sport, go for running , do some weight lifting , practice asanas ,dance or whatever you like.Sitting for prolonged hours has tremendous ill-effects for health. Try with small things like taking up stairs instead of elevator, walk instead of taking a car and slowly increase your fitness goals and work on them.3. Eat clean and healthyKeeping yourself physically active doesn't give you license to eat whatever comes on your plate.Be observant of what you are eating, our bodies are one of the most complex and amazing machines. Don't mess with it.Eat a balanced diet and try to stay away from junk.Include lot of veggies in your diet. And eat good amount of raw salad along with your meals.4. Calm down your inner turbulenceMost of our worries and inhibitions originate within our minds.Try to reduce stress in your life. Its easier said than done, but mindfulness and meditation come to rescue. Start practicing meditation for 5 minutes a day. Moreover start living in present and stop worrying about unnecessary things.5-5-5 rule works like a charm, whenever worried about something , think if this will matter in next 5 minutes, 5 months or 5 years.5. Drink loads of waterKeep a water bottle with you all the time during travel , during office hours and at home.Make sure you finish 2-3 litres of water each day. Water flushes toxins out of your body.6. Sleep wellOur body's healing process happens during sleep, so if we don't take proper sleep, we are messing up with the process.Try to sleep 6-8 hours depending on your body. Moreover keep virtual world away from you before going to bed.Stay happy and stay healthy :)

MY BODY, especially my legs, hurts so. I feel like I have been in a fight.?

Take some iron pills and vitamins, if not already. Soak your muscles in hot bubble bath. Are you eating healthy? If not, that could be why. I know lots of celebs that look great and are probably very unhealthy. I don't know how you lost weight but maybe you overexerted yourself. You are only suppose to weight train every other day because you need to give your muscle time to rest. Take some time off and pamper you body. Congrats. You deserve it.

How can I create amazing bokeh for my photography? (Picture Included)?

Okay, so I don't want to rant, but I'll just start off by saying that I own a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS.
It's an amazing camera, but I'm not able to attach any lens extensions, which means I can't attach a bokeh lens to it.

I came across this photo on deviantart of some grass, with a REALLY strong bokeh effect to it. It's absolutely breathtaking and I only wish I could get a good bokeh effect like that.
Here's the photo:

So my question is, is there any possible way to get that strong bokeh effect with the camera I have?
I've tried making my own "paper lens" for bokeh, but that really didn't work for me.

Any tips from photographers would be absolutely wonderful.
Thank you in advance.

How can I make a habit of waking up early in the morning?

For me, waking up early in the morning comes down to 3 things.Having good sleep hygiene. You can’t wake up early if you aren’t well-rested. So step one is get your sleep hygiene in order. To do so, follow these simple rules.Schedule Sleep – Don’t get up and go to bed at wildly different times each day. That messes with your body’s natural sleep cycles and makes it harder for you to fall asleep fast, stay asleep, and wake up refreshed.Don’t Sabotage Your Sleep – Avoid late-in-the-day caffeine from coffee, tea, energy drinks or sodas. Don’t take stimulants such as tobacco. Avoid heavy, greasy, or spicy meals near bedtime as well.Make a Sleep Sanctuary – Keep your bedroom dark, neat, and between 60 – 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t bring work, bills, or other stress-causers into your bedroom. Make sure your pillows, sheets, blankets and mattresses are comfortable.Work Hard, Play Hard. During the day, get physical exercise and sunlight. Both will set you up for a more restful sleep at night. Don’t take naps either, as they’ll have the opposite effect.Ease Into Bedtime – Have a glass of warm milk or read a book. Avoid the blue light emitted from electronic devices such as phones and tablets.Having a habitual morning routine.Have a nice morning routine that you enjoy and look forward to. Here’s my advice, but feel free to create your own.You can read more about my morning routine here: How to Have a Great Morning: 4 Steps to the Perfect Morning RoutineHaving a purpose in your life. You can’t be eager to get up early if there is no purpose in your life. I read a great quote last week that said something along the lines of “Successful people feel about Mondays like regular people feel about Fridays.” You should have something in your life that you damn well can’t live without. That you are hungry for. That you are excited about. Then you won’t have to drag yourself out of bed - you’ll be pulled out every morning by your passion. For more life tips, check out Improve My Life This Year
