How much weight can I lose over summer?

The month of May is starting to roll around and I have finally became fed up with my weight. I start my junior year in high school in August and I would really love to lose some weight over the summer. I am almost 16 and I weigh about 280 lbs. I'm morbidly obese, obviously, and I really want to get my life together and change all of my habits. I have all of May, June, July, and August to really work on this. I know that I will need to continue to stay and eat healthy after August, but I want to know how much weight I could lose. Does anyone know the healthy amount? How much have you lost in 4 months? Do you have any exercise recommendations? Are there and healthy flushes or home remedies that have really helped you lose more weight fast? I could use all the help I can get! Thank you!

ne ways ...what i think u should do is

*eat ALOT of celery (it burns more calories then it acutally puts on...yay!)
*dont eat anything after 8 o clock (that when ur almost ready to go to sleep and your metabolism is slow so ull just gain the pounds..)
*drink LOTS of water...( 8 glasses is unhealthy and not recommended....drink around 5 or 6)
*avoid junk food (if u can..i mean having a candy bar every now and then istn going to make u gain like 2485475 pounds...)
*whenever u get hungry just get the will power to avoid junk food...hide it....and go for the fruit or make urself a salad...if u have like 5 salads a day because ur hungry..then that's finee)
*excersize!! (if u dont want to go out that fine ..i cant either...waht u can do is if u have any exercise machines use thoe or if not im giving u a video that u cann look at..it is really easy trust me im 15 and i do it ..i've already lost 12 pounds!! )
*sleep (not gettting enough sleep can make u lazy and then u wont want to excersize)
*have the strength and will power to keep going and get out of your comfort zone (i KNOW you can do it!)

I'm 15 and school is over, and I was thinking to lose weight over the summer. I'm going to high school and I wanna lose weight before I go to the 9th grade. I weight 228 pounds and I'm looking for good ways to lose weight, not fast, but good and easy ways to lose weight. I know i don't have to but it's my goal this summer, so please help me.

About 1200-1500 calories a day intake if you are trying to lose weight. 1500-2000 a day if you are trying to maintain. You may need to eat more than that if you are active in sports or other things.

2.) Exercise- Here we go. To lose weight or tone up, you need two kinds of exercise.
Cardio- This is any exercise that gets your heart rate up, and keeps it up for more than 25 minutes. Running, Jogging, Bike riding, Swimming, Sports, and cardio machines are great ways to get cardio. You can also try different workout videos. Try renting some first, to see if you like it, and then if you do, maybe purchase it.

3500 Calories is equal to one pound. This means if you consume 500 less calories a day, workout for till you burn 500 calories, or do a combnation of the two, you will lose 1 pound each week. Say you cut out 300 calories of food, then you need to burn off 200 a day. Simple, isn't it.
