Ways To Stay Fit In Summer

How to get fit over the summer?

DIET
Eliminate junk food. Get it out of your house if you have to. Salads are amazing, choose a light vinagrette dressing. Fruits are great, and be colorful. You need some meat,b ut only pieces the size of a deck of cards. 2 of those a day max. Chicken, turkey, or pork are you best bets there. Whole grains are the best. Make sure not to eat too many of these. Whole grain omega enriched pastas are perfect aswell. Drink three glasses of nonfat milk a day. It helps turn fat into muscle. Nonfat yougurt is also good, but some brands have more sugar than others, so take a look at that. After, you exercise, try to eat something. I usually have weaties with milk. Also, an hour before your workout, get some fuel into yourself. Bananas are great for this. Drink pleanty of water throughout the day, but DO NOT overdo it before a workout, because it can give you cramps.

EXERCISE
Go for 5 miles a day. Start by running as much as you can and walking when you need a break, then run again, walk again . . . .so on, you get the point. By the end of the summer you should be a ble to run the whole thing. If you get really good you can throw in random 15 second sprints.

Finally, incorprate more movement into your day. Clean the house, mow the lawn, go for walks with friends, shoot hoops with your family, play badmitton with your neighbors, ect.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!

How to get fit by summer?

The good news is, you don't HAVE to follow a strict diet. For some people, strict dieting is very helpful, but it's not necessary at all. You can lose weight and improve your fitness without giving up your favorite foods. I'm pretty sure that some of your favorite foods are junk foods, and you're probably thinking to yourself: "Oh no, I can't eat chocolate cake and cookies anymore!". However, that's not true at all! And here's why: how much you weigh depends on HOW MUCH you eat, not WHAT you eat. A lot of beginners think that eating junk food is what makes people overweight or obese, but in reality, a lot of healthy and fit people eat unhealthy food. On the other hand, a lot of obese people like to eat fruits and vegetables. I eat McDonald's on a fairly regular basis (and whenever I eat McDonald's I always order soda and french fries), yet my BMI score is healthy. I'm definitely not ripped, but I'm not overweight either. This proves that what you eat is not important. Again, HOW MUCH you eat is more important than WHAT you eat. The vast majority of obese people consume way too much calories on a typical day. On the other hand, the average fit person consumes a MODERATE amount of calories on a typical day. Therefore, if weight loss is your goal, you don't have to stay away from junk food and choose healthy food every time. All you have to do is eat less. You can count calories if you want to, but I don't even pay attention to calories, all I do is guesstimate. This is what I do: I think back to my last meal, and estimate how much food I consumed during that meal. If I think I ate a lot, I make the next meal small, and vice versa - if I think I ate moderately, I don't worry too much about how big the next meal is. Try doing this - if you do this, you'll for the most part consume the right amount of calories, and you won't overeat.

As far as exercise, my advice is simple: work out at least three days a week. If you can do four days a week, that's even better. Work out EVERY week - don't skip weeks! Your workout sessions don't need to be long - I'm fairly fit and healthy and my workout sessions are, on average, 30 minutes long. However, if you want to get RIPPED, you probably need more than just 30 minutes. Focus on both cardio and strength training, if you can.

Sorry for the long response - I wanted to help :) Good luck! Hope you reach your goal! You still have a lot of time!
