What should you do when you drop your phone in water?

Yesterday my mobile (Moto G2 ) fell into full bucket of hot water. This question aroused after this happened to me and now I’m writing this answer through my mobile only! (which is working in same condition it was before ) . so how did happened !!. So ,if your mobile fall into water , first thing first , immediately switch it off .if you can take its battery out, so do so ,otherwise in my case , I wasn’t able to take the battery out so switch it off immediately as the water penetrated into the phone can short-circuit the component if the phone is on and current is flowing inside it .now place your phone into a drying agent , the most common drying agent (soaking agent ) available with all of us is dry rice or uncooked rice . place your mobile covered into rice for 24 or more hours as dry rice are good absorbing agents as they absorb whatever moisture left inside your phone . You can also use silica gel to dry your phone .Precaution - never blow dry your phone with blow dryer or heater as they can fry components of your phone . Don’t do such silly mistake .After 24 or more Hrs you can switch on your phone and I’am definitely sure you can use your phone as it was before .Why your phone is not working after all this - this is because your phone was in water for more time ,this let the water penetrated deep into the phone; it was not possible to absorb the moisture after all this remedy also. What should you do even if your phone is not working now also - immediately rush to the nearest mobile service store :)#underoot41

When do I change a Samsung refrigerator water filter?

I had the same issue last year... With "normal" use, your Samsung fridge filter should be replaced every 6 months. A common mistake is that the light indicator tells you when the fridge filter is dirty. This is not true, the indicator just tells you that the 6 months are over. 6 Months is an average. If you have kids and use the fridge filter daily, you might want to consider changing it every 5 months. Here's more information about changing a Samsung filter:Samsung Fridge Filters: Easy-Guide to Replacing, Resetting and Changing.

What was Lake Lagunita like when it was filled with water?

First I will tell what Stanford was like when Lake Lag was full of water. Plywood, 2x4s and "the kind of plastic construction workers use" were disappearing from construction sites all over campus.Refillable water jugs were disappearing from pickup sites.Hardware stores were selling out of caulk. (Ha! Caulk.)Several big recycle bins disappeared -- only to reappear a few weeks later, screwed shut and lined with caulk. Students were being woken up in the middle of the night -- not by music and parties, but by power tools. The OSA was frantically searching Facebook for evidence of unregistered parties. Students were getting really creative about different ways to build or acquire boats for free or cheap. Half of the campus didn't even realize there was water in the lake. The lake itself was perfect. During the day, alumni would come with their dogs and talk about what Stanford was like in their day. Some of the best stories I've ever heard about Stanford came from these alumni. And it's wonderful to be around so many dogs. As a student, you really don't get to play with dogs that much. And my favorite sound in the WORLD is probably the funny splashing noise dogs make when they're running in waist-deep water, chasing a duck.Frogs were everywhere. Salamanders were not. All the grass started growing in the lake. The water was really clear, but visibility was often limited by all the plants. I used to snorkle in the lake a lot, and I would see lots of snails and plants and golf balls in it. But I only saw one endangered salamander. As far as the other stuff, it's just so hard to put into words. I hope these pictures begin to do justice to the magic that is Lake Lag. Thanks to all the people who took these photos.

Should I choose cold or hot spark plugs?

this is one of those areas that people just dont seem to understand…the heat of a plug has nothing to do with the flame in the cylinder. they dont make an engine run any hotter or colder than it otherwise would.all it signifies is how hot the plug itself gets in operation.a COLD plug suits a HOT engine. which is why you see more and more new vehicles with high numbered plugs, such as ngk **11** or **13**, as they run lean, and hot.a HOT plug suits a COLD engine… which is why lawnmowers use low number plugs, using ngk again… numbers such as **5** or **7**.a hot plug holds heat, retains it. it gets hot. which is good for an engine that runs slowly, or a twostroke that has to burn oil off its insulator and electrodes. if the engine is tuned correctly but plugs come out dark brown to black…get a hotter plug. if its a generator that spends most of its life putting away at 3000rpm…get the hotter plug.once the electrode starts melting and the insulator comes out bone white or even blistered…its TOO hot. (or, as ive found with some engine/plug combos, you get seriously bad pre-ignition…)with the exact right plug heat range, and a perfect tune, the plug comes out looking virtually “as new”. white, or just a shade of tan.if the engine is used at full throttle, all day long, in tropical heat… get a cold plug.you will usually find manufacturers list two, sometimes three plugs as suitable, with a small note saying that the “8 is suitable for inner city use” and the “9 or 10 is more suited to racing or high load use”
