Even though you give up your originals; you might not need them as the AAC from iTunes is probably superior anyway. Unless you’re playing WAV files or something. Everything else is done better on Android and Windows Phone. I would rather opt out of synchronization and use third party support for when I truly need it than opt in. Plus OneDrive on the desktop already syncs your PC with your phone to the cloud account; it is only files you store on the device itself that may not get synchronized with OneDrive. OneDrive does not force the files to download onto your device, which is preferable IMHO.
