Weird Bump Under My Skin Under My Chin

My mali has a weird hard bump under her chin?

So my mali uromastyx has had this for a while already and she also already had it when she was given to me so I don know how it formed. Anyway she eats her greens and shredded carrots and the healthy stuff. Once in a blue moon she will have some crickets but agian once in a blue moon type of thing. I don't think it really bothers her she eats fine and stuff. Basically it's a hard bump right under her chin as seen in the picture I haven't touched it or tried pulling it off incase but is there anything I can do to make it go away? And what is it could it be a disease or fungus? And is there any health risk for me or her? I can't really afford to go to a vet so is there any home remedies or something to buy at the reptile store?

Thanks :)

What is this weird bump under my chin?

It is more than like likely cartilage, altough maybe not your standard cartilage. I have something similar behind my left ear. You can have it removed. Its a minor surgery.
Obviously your doctor will be able to say for sure what it is but my moneys on a harmless cell growth.

I Have This Weird Bubble Under My Skin Under My Chin?

I get them every now and then. They're little bubbles (idk of what) under my chin inside the skin. If I touch my chin in that area I can feel something like a little ball in there. I can move it too. It feels really weird, especially when I turn my head to that side. They can be popped, but since I dont know what it is or what's inside it, and popping them feels extra weird, I don't wanna try it again. Any ideas as to what this is? Thanks!

What are the causes of a hard lump under the skin of the jawline?

Depending on the size and location of the lump under the jaw or “"mandible” you could be feeling a salivary gland or lymph node. As far as glands are concerned, the submandibular gland is the likeliest culprit, especially if you have tenderness in the area of the lump. The lymph nodes under the jawline are in the “cervical chain” and can be enlarged or inflamed due to several conditions. Inflammation of the oral cavity or throat can lead to enlarged lumps under the jawline which are most likely lymph nodes responding to a viral infection. This is the most likely cause of your lump.

My cat has a weird black bump on her chin and it's really big. she's an indoor cat. what is it?

Is the lump under the skin? If not (and is in her fur), it is (most likely) "build up" of food that has molded. When cats eat out of bowls, their chins are, very often, in their food. It's very hard for a cat to clean under its chin.

If that's what it is, brush it, scratch it out, wash it with water. It might take several attempts. Do it over several days if you need to; try not to irritate the cat's chin/skin.

[By "brush", I mean comb it with a cat comb, or pet brush. By "scratch it", I mean use your fingernails to scratch some of it off. By "wash it", I mean use a cloth [terrycloth, like a wash cloth, might be best because it's rough], use very, very warm water and try to rub some of it out. I don't recommend you use any cleaning chemical on your cat's chin.]

Hope it is just mold and nothing serious. :) If the lump is under the skin, you should take your cat to a vet & get it diagnosed.

I have small acne-like bumps UNDER my skin on my chin. It has been months and they have not emerged. Help?

i think you have congested skin. i think they may be a form of black head. I used to have them alllllll the time really bad and i bought dermalogica dermal clay cleanser. you can feel it working. when i use it i'll be in the shower and my pores will open up, then i wipe my face and hands with a towel then rub the clay cleanser into my face and it will burn a little bit, but it works amazingly. I dry my hands and face because if they are wet, the product gets diluted and wont work as well.

i've also been using aveeno clear complexion cream cleanser and my skin was doing really good when i was using that

I have this huge bump on my chin, its like the size of a penny, it hurts so much when i touch it.?

It sounds like you have a boil. Do not try to pop a boil, as this will only make it worse, and cause it to get bigger, and be more painful. Try applying heat to it (just soak a wash cloth in very hot water) and let the hot cloth stay on the affected area for about 10 minutes a few times a day (morning/night), for several days or how ever long it takes for it to reduce in size/go away. Hydrogen Peroxide will also aid in healing it faster because it dries the boil out and also disinfects it.

I have a nasty dog bite but there are hard lumps under my skin in the area around the laceration. It's 3 weeks old but the lumps aren't changing. Can I do anything to help it heal better?

I would agree with Alan that it is most likely scar tissue as I have similar underneath a surgical incision. The advice I was given was to give it 4-6 weeks to heal and then use massage. The massage helps to release tissues surrounding the scar which may have become joined to it. This in turn can slightly reduce the size of area affected and prevent loss of movement. Be sure to be gentle though and if concerned consult your own Doctor.
