Weird Feeling In My Cheek After Tooth Extraction.

Cheek feels weird after wisdom teeth extraction?

I had all four of my wisdom teeth out yesterday. I've been pleasantly surprised by how little swelling I've had and how I've been recovering. However earlier today I got a weird sensation in my left cheek (which is more swollen than the right). It Suddenly felt like the inside of my cheek was stuck to the stitches or something and like I couldn't move it. I had a little bit of this on the right side, but only along my jawline so its not really affecting how I move. It happened again just a few minutes ago. It feels kind of numb, but the freezing had gone away completely so this doesn't quite make sense but it does say on my instructions to contact someone if still frozen and I'm not sure if this counts. Is this just the normal swelling, or should I by worried?

Question about weird feeling after wisdom teeth extraction?

This morning at 11:30 (its 10 pm now), i got my bottom 2 wisdom teeth taken out. i was put under anesthesia and everything and at around 4, i took my pain pills. I believe it is acetapminophen with codein or something like clorodine. I took it again at about 9, as directed by my doctor. and since then, ive had a weird feeling in my body. i am watching a movie now and my hands and feet almost feel like they are about to fall asleep as well as my head feels like that too. Also, my chest feels weird. I feel like i can feel my heart pumping an i have the urge to put my hand over my chest. Whats going on? i have never had this feeling and i just wanted to know what this is all about. I would really enjoy some answers

Gums feel weird after wisdom teeth extraction?

I had all four wisdom teeth extracted at once one week ago, and the sutures and everything are out but my gums feel weird. I don't know how else to explain it except to say they feel floppy and raw and I can separate them from my jaw line and they are somewhat covering my teeth, and it is so painful to move them so I can't brush my back teeth. Will this go away anytime soon?

Gums feel weird after wisdom teeth extraction?

Hey,

So I have had 7 wisdom teeth total. Just last week, I had the last 4 taken out (they were in my upper jaw) because they were getting into the roots of my other teeth. The pain has gone down immensely, but while my right side of my gums feel good and solid, my left e feel soft, slimy, and squishy and I've had a taste in my mouth that tastes like something old.

They did not prescribe me antibacterials because they said it wasn't open.

Do you think this is an infection? I've hurt it a couple of times (a day or two after surgery trying to eat, control my dog on the leash ect...) but whenever I feel for the stitches, the are in there. Thanks for your help

Weird feeling in throat five days after wisdom teeth extraction?

Alright so I had my wisdom teeth removed Friday morning (it's now Tuesday morning) and I went to sleep last night with a strange feeling in my throat hoping it would go away. Needless to say, it did not and I'm worried. I feel like I need to constantly swallow and that it's maybe coated with something? It's painless when I swallow but I just feel like I need to clear my throat a lot. I've been taking all my antibiotics and advil. My cheeks are still swollen but the pain is getting better except for my left side which has a dull ache more towered the front(not where the tooth was extracted). Sorry this is a long rant but ik a bit worried and my doctor is out of town for the next week. So my question is, is it normal to he feeling like this 4-5 days after all four wisdom teeth have been extracted at the same time?
Also, my teeth have been feeling sort of sticky, like when I close my teeth together and open it again l, it sticks. How can I get rid of this? I've been rinsing with salt water a lot. And am I actually allowed to brush with toothpaste?
Thanks or your answers! :)

Why does my jaw hurts after a tooth extraction?

Many reasons. The trauma of removing a tooth tears the gums and expands the bone in the jaw.If you mean by jaw your jaw joint. Then possibly th pressure put on that joint during the extraction inflamed the joint causing pain. You could have an infection which require antibioticsYou could have a dry socket which mean the bone in the socket where the tooth was has not healed because of lack of blood flow most common in smokers. You could have food stuck in the socketYou could just be wimpy-just kidding hope you feel better soon. Wisdom Teeth Extraction?

I had three wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago. The surgery went well and the pain was controlled by T3s. However I am now noticing that the stitching on the top extraction is falling out, which after only two days seems weird to me. There is no bleeding and the only pain I am feeling is my cheeks are swollen and there is a small lump in my cheek near the extraction site, on the other side of my mouth, not near the dangling stitches. The falling out stitches normally wouldn't bother me except there is also some flesh dangling down with it, like a piece of cheek thats been bitten off, only coming out of the extraction site. I have called my Dentist and left a message, however he will not get it until Monday (it's Saturday night) and its FREAKING ME OUT. Has anyone experienced this before, am I worrying about nothing? Its a very large piece of flesh (judging by what my tongue can feel).

Is it normal to have a slimy feel at an extraction site even after stitches are out?

Last Thursday I got all four wisdom teeth removed. Today I got my stitches out, I felt better after they were out. Doctor didn't even sue the words dry socket or infection, so I was happy. Everywhere feels fine, just my jaw is a little achy. For some reason, though, I have this slimy-like feeling coming from the lower left extraction area. It tastes kinda weird and is warm. What is it? Just saliva and my imagination?

I got my wisdom teeth extracted I noticed white stuff growing inside my cheek and the extraction site? Is it infection or just scabs?

You are probably seeing two things. The white material over the socket is the top later of the clot. It is a normal part of healing. The white on the cheek appears as a small irregular patch. It is because there is not enough chewing and the surface of the gum tissue, that normally sluffes off, builds up. This will disappear when your chewing and diet are back to normal. If the white you are seeing is a white line parallel to the level of the biting surfaces of the teeth, this is the linia alba. It is hyper-keratinized line of cheek tissue, or a callus. It is a normal anatomical feature.
