Weird Pain In Chest Area

Weird chest/throat pain?

I would say it also sounds like Gerds.. But anxiety can make this happen also.. Thats the sad part anxiety can make everything worse.. You also stated your a hypochondriac.. Witch I am also.. Always fear the worse and that you have the worse wrong with you.. If I get a pain that don't go away in a few hours I am like OMG ITS CANCER LOL... You being only 18 its VERY rare for you to have a heart problem but when it comes to your chest take no chances. Go to your doctor just for peace of mind. I am 99.999% sure its nothing to bad lol but it will make you feel better after you are told that by someone who really knows what they are talking about lol..

Now What I think you should do is go to the store and buy some 150MG of Zantac its a bata blocker so it will block acids and it may help.. If in 30 minutes you feel better then you can be pretty darn sure its has to do with your tummy.

But still you should get a test for gerds and other NON-deadly tummy problems.. Anxiety and being a hypochondriac ALONE can make you feel 100 X's worse then you really do.. Its all mental, even if it feels very real. You may need to also talk to your doctor about some Anti-Anxiety meds.. I have been on them for years and they can really help. ALSO you should think about getting some Counseling.. Talking about your Anxiety and fears never hurts and sometimes can make the Anxiety less just to have someone to talk to!!..

You will be fine and take good care if yourself hun.. Go to the doctors and get peace of mind!

Why is my weird chest pain relieved when I eat?

I don’t know what you have. You need to see a doctor to know for sure. I urge you to see one, mainly for the peace of mind a diagnosis can give you. Now, if I had to make use of adductive reasoning to derive a possibility for your pain it would go as follows:The chest pain you are experiencing goes away with the intake of food. It makes me think it has to do more with your stomach than your organs in your chest. Heartburn can take different shape and form and can resemble a pain that originates in the chest but, however, it originates in your stomach (or lower esophagus).Something is wrong with your stomach. The acids in your stomach are attacking the inner lining of your lower esophagus which gives you pain. Now, why are the acids in your esophagus in the first place? You are lying down or otherwise in a position not erect. The lack of food in your stomach increases its acidity,2 things happens when you eat. 1) You are in an erect position. 2) You are intaking solids 3) you are drinking ( yes I know I said 2 things and mentioned 3: sue me). All of these things help bringing the acids back intoyour stomach. The pain is gone. Until your stomach is empty again and you are probably lying down. You, sir, may have a hiatal hernia. Depending on your age and history this would be a sound differential diagnosis. However, there is no way of knowing and it wouldn’t be my first guess if you are, let’s say, 12 years old.See a doctor.Ps. I forgot to tell you what an hiatal hernia is. Basically, the top part of your stomach protrudes through your diaphragm and into the chest cavity. The diaphragm is a sheet like muscle that divides chest from abdominal cavity. Depending on how big of an herniation there is the symptoms may worsen with increased pressure in the abdominal cavity caused by either defecation or cough or any strenuous activity.

Weird pain in my stomach that moves to my chest?

Weird chest pain when twisting?

I've always had this weird feeling when I twist my torso repeatedly, it feels like air's forced in, like I'm being forced to breath. It's kind of a hollow-y feeling and it's irritating. But I've been exercising my sides recently and my mom said to do the Twist because it really helps. So I've been trying it and now the hollow-y feeling's really starting to hurt. It's painful right where my breast bone is.

I tried to look this up and there are a lot of other people with a weird chest pain when they twist, but nobody's mentioned a way to fix it, or what's causing it. Anyone?

Weird feeling on right side of chest?

my daily activity consists of sitting down on the computer playing video games and not eating exactly the healthiest of foods. sometimes my left thigh area starts hurting but it's not until recently that i've been feeling a weird pain in my right chest area. it's not really painful but more like an uncomfortable pressure-like feeling.

you'd think if it was heart related, I would feel pain on my left side but I don't so what could it be?

What is that weird feeling you get in your chest when you suddenly think of someone?

It sounds like you are having AN EMOTION. Pain in chest area after getting tackled?

If it's not a major pain, my advice would be to ice it for 30 minutes, twice a day. If the swelling goes down and the pain goes away, then it was probably just a bruise. If the problem persists, you need to talk to a doctor. You may have a broken/dislocated/chipped a rib.
Hope this helps

Weird chest pain feel like I need to vomit or something?

You'd have to get it checked out by a doctor to find out for sure what's going on, because there are many possible causes of this, but the most common cause for this kind of chest pain at night while lying down and either vomiting or feeling like you are about to vomit, is nighttime heartburn, also known as acid reflux or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). The problem is caused by acid that is in the stomach and used to break down food; with reflux, acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus, which is the tube that runs through the chest between the mouth and stomach. The stomach has a mucous lining which protects it from being burned by the acid, but the esophagus does not and can be burned by the acid, which causes the kind of pain you report.

If acid reflux is what is going on with you or your brother, this can often successfully be prevented or treated by diet modification including what time you eat and what foods you eat, sleeping position (using more pillows to elevate your upper body), or by taking acid reflux medication, some of which you can get at the drugstore without a prescription, and others by prescription.

This is a *very* common medical problem including in young people.

Here's a quick article on it with suggestions:

Websearch acid reflux or GERD for more information. See a doctor to get it checked out for sure, especially if you try the suggestions in the article and they don't help, because as I said, there are other possible causes for your symptoms. This is just the most common one.

Wishing you good luck, good health, and quick relief from this.

Why did i get a sharp chest pain after drinking water?

That sounds like a partially pinched muscle in your back that the pain is being caused by. The muscle isn't pinched tight but it isn't fully released either so it can be moved into the pain area fairly easy. when you chugged that water down and tilted your head back it put enough pressure on the muscle to make it go fully pinched for a period of time and the pain was on. When you have muscles pinched in the rib area the pains like to follow the ribs to the front and then manifest themselves there. Here is how to release your back muscles so this don't happen anymore, it will make a full release of that muscle in your back:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
