Were A Government Agency To Be Monitoring/tracking Your Statements In This Forum How Would You

Does the IRS monitor your savings and checking accounts?

The IRS does not have access to monitor bank accounts, nor do they know where everyone has an account to monitor them.Banks are required to report certain transactions to the IRS, such as interest earned on an account. If the bank does not report something, the IRS won't know you even have an account at any particular bank unless you use it for paying your taxes or getting a direct deposit for a refund. Even then, they aren't keeping a database of anyone's account numbers to track bank accounts. The IRS can also issue a summons for bank records if you are being audited (if they know where you have accounts), but you always receive a copy a of the summons when it is issued and you have a 25-day quash period to stop the bank from issuing the records of you have a legal reason why they shouldn't receive the records. The records are for a specific period though and they aren't sent constantly to monitor an account. For example, if you are being audited for the 2015 tax year, they can only request bank records for 2015, or one month before and after 2015 (for timing differences). If they don't know where you have an account, they have to guess, or send out summons to multiple banks to try to find an account you may have, which is costly and time-consuming.

Who founded NIKE corporation and for what purpose?

Bowerman, the inimitable University of Oregon coach, brought jogging to America, built an unrivaled track and field program at that university, and taught his athletes to seek the competitive advantage everywhere - in their bodies, their gear and their passion.

Phil Knight was a University of Oregon accounting student and a middle-distance runner under Bowerman. In 1962, Knight had this you're-crazy-it-will-never-work-or-someo... idea about bringing low-priced, high-tech athletic shoes from Japan to dislodge German domination of the US athletic footwear industry.

That same year Bowerman and Knight formed a partnership. Legend has it that they each kicked in $500, shook hands and started importing. Truth is, it was probably closer to $550. Pretty soon, shoes from Onitsuka Tiger started showing up on American feet, brought into the US by some nobody company named Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS).

This scenario was bound to pass by the wayside. Bowerman was always seeking ways to improve Tiger designs, and Knight never could stand the thought of shilling for somebody else when he could shill for himself. Soon enough, BRS gave way to a new approach to winning the throne in the US running market. This time, it would be with new designs and a new company, Nike. Two more key players helped propel the company's early growth: Jeff Johnson, a former track rival of Knight's at the University of Oregon and Steve Prefontaine, also a University of Oregon runner and middle-distance running prodigy.

Johnson joined Knight and Bowerman's Blue Ribbon Sports company as its first full-time employee, selling shoes out of the back of his van at high school track meets in 1965. In 1966, Johnson opened the company's first retail outlet in a narrow building at 3107 Pico Blvd., in Santa Monica, California. Johnson is credited with giving Nike its name. Prefontaine, the first major track athlete to wear Nike product, had significant influence on the design of Nike's running shoes. His indomitable spirit and legendary competitive passion left an indelible mark on the company.

Some thirty years later, Nike is the largest sports and fitness company in the world

Does Google send key words to cops if you look up certain things?

Yes, but not how you might think. If the cops banged on the door of everyone who ever googled “how to make pot brownies with a coffee pot?” well we’d be losing a lot more good men, but also they can’t do that, because seeking information isn’t illegal and sometimes people google gnarly shit out of curiosity, cops know this. That being said, there are specific keywords associated with organized crime, terrorism etc that are closely monitored. Googling specific names, of people on certain lists, certain activities, buildings, statements. Things that only a terrorist or criminal might know, those are the sorts of things that’ll get you put on a list, or even arrested, but neither you nor I would even know how to look up those things, but researching crimininal activities isn’t illegal. Thats why drug forums exist. As long as you don’t do anything thats actually illegal online, you should be ok.That all being said, google searches and the people who make them are watched and used in large scale census style data bases. So if your name might be on a very very large list of individuals that googled a specific type of porn, or specified drug information or maybe even just the type of cereal you like and while this can’t get you arrested necessarily. It could definitely come up at a later juncture if you were to have legal troubles. Just something to think about.
