Why is it that in most movies, media and TV shows, the scream of the red-tailed hawk is used for just about every bird of prey besides vultures and owls?

I actually wondered the same thing a few months ago. I read a few articles, but one stood out to me (though I’m not sure how true it is). It claimed that the reason why they use the red tail for bald eagles is because the call of a bald eagle “is weak and isn’t as intimidating,” whereas the red tailed hawk is “powerful and chilling.”Really most eagles don’t have that shrieking call like hawks. From all of the videos I remember, I don’t think I’ve heard one that screams, but that’s just another unique characteristic. Baldies make more of a chirping noise. But as far as “weak” and “unintimidating” goes, I don’t think eagles were meant to intimidate by sound. Birds aren’t like tigers and lions; they don’t (as far as I know) use their voices to induce fear. They use their voices to communicate. Their talons are what’s intimidating. Hawks aren’t as powerful as eagles physically, either. So if you want my two cents, the eagle is definitely more intimidating. Yes, the call of a Red Tailed Hawk is loud, frightening and strong, but an eagle wins when it comes to strength. That’s my take on the issue.

How did the Wilhelm scream start being used in movies?

It's an in-house joke, and has become a a cinematic sound cliche these days.Ben Burtt, a sound designer working on Star Wars is credited for reviving it from the cold storage. He has incorporated the same in most of the movies he has worked on, and slowly it was picked up by the community and by now more than 200 movies have the effect in it. Wilhem scream is a frequent trivia in the iMDB trivia page about the movie."Man being eaten by alligator", the title under which it was original commissioned and used in the 1951 movie Distant Drums is generally used to signify an off-screen action and/or an extra's death.

I can mimic a Kantus’s scream and I sound like them. Is that normal?

I don’t know what a Kantu is, but when I was 13 I thought I could mimic a Bald Eagle’s cry. I could do a loud piercing shriek that sounded just like them.Except I couldn’t.What I was actually mimicking was the cry of a Red-Tailed Hawk, which is always dubbed over the eagles in movies, to make them sound more impressive.
