Were Do I Have More Chance To Make It To The Mlb Mexico Or Usa

What team is better mexico or usa in soccer?

Mexico just recently won the Olympic Games and they have also managed to be present in many World Cups so their soccer background is stronger than USA's.

As all teams, Mexico has had some set backs but in general terms it is a much better team than USA.

There are many Mexican and Latin American players playing in the MLS (Major League Soccer) so that is another interesting fact to take into account as soccer has not been a strong sport like baseball or NFL or even basketball in America. Anyhow, USA is coming along and it is improving but they still have to train and work harder to deserve to be within the world top soccer/football teams.

Is there any chance a MLB team in Mexico?

Back in the late 1990s, after Baseball enjoyed it's post-strike resurgence, there was talk of expansion into Mexico, but that really didn't go anywhere once the economy began to turn in the 2000s...

If MLB ever expanded into Mexico, the most likely city would be Monterrey. Besides being only a few hours south of the US-Mexico border, Monterrey is one of the most economically-stable and "global" cities in Mexico. In addition to being a financial and commercial center for some of the largest Mexican companies, Monterrey is also home to numerous foreign corporations. It is often considered the most "Western" city in Mexico.

The hometown "Sultanes" baseball team is highly popular and plays in the largest, most modern stadium in the country. Their stadium has already been home to numerous MLB exhibition games... and regular season games in the 1990s (The Padres played a series thre in 95 or 96 and the Padres & Rockies played their season opener in Monterrey in 1999).

The city even tried to lure the Expos from Montreal in the early 2000s before they eventually re-located to Washington DC. If ever the economy rebounds to the point where international expansion once again becomes a possibility, I would guess Monterrey would be the most logical location.

If Mexico City were to get an NBA team, an MLB team, an NFL team, and an NHL team, what would each of the team names be?

It’s complicated to get that teams because a problem of Relative Prices. Attending a final match in Mexican Soccer Professional League in good seats costs 1,500 pesos (about U$75). A bad place for a regular season seat can cost 50 pesos (little more than 2 dollars). In the recent matches of NBA in Mexico City the cheapest ticket cost 346 pesos (about U$20) and a a court seat it’s sold in 8,052 pesos (Near U$400). A couple of games a year -attendance 10,000- got enough public; a weekly match in a regular season, maybe not. That besides, in 1993–94, prior to NAFTA signing, there was the interest to give Mexico an MLB expansion franchise in 3–5 years, that will play in Monterrey and Mexico City (alternating one series as local in each city ). In the project they was referred as “The Independents”. It’s colors was green, white and red -obvious- and the idea was to signal the new status as developed nation and business partners. But in that years the dollar cost 3 pesos, so the difference was very little. The 1995 financial crisis ended this project.NBA could be The Aztecs (By Pro Basketball team)MLB could be The Independents (By the previous 1993 project)NFL could be Cougars (by UNAM team name)NHL could be the Inexistents (There are no conditions to play Ice Hockey here)MLS could be… The Champions! (Only sport in wich we had competition level)

Why are Mexicans so cocky about their football league and national team?

they earned the bragging rights they have been a friend to CONMEBOL/the South American region and organization for about 18 years internationally and 14 years club wise and are the pnly CONCACAF team to win the Confederations Cup, Copa Nissan now named Bridgestoned Sudamericana, they reached the finals of Copa America vs Argentina in 1993 their first participation ever and in 2001 against Colombia (lost that one in Colombia and the other one by one goal) UM WHAT HAS USA DONE? YOU'RE JUST A HATER THAT YOUR COUNTRY GOT SMACKED 5-0, 2-1, 4-2 AND SO ON AS WELL AS THAT BOSNIAN DUDE WHO'S TEAM GOT SMACKED BY MEXICO 2-0 THIS YEAR

1 CONFEDERATIONS CUP MEXICO HAS WON SOMETHING URUGUAY, HOLLAND, SPAIN, ENGLAND, GERMANY DO NOT HAVE ETC

Why didn't Sadaharu Oh play in MLB?

Sadaharu Oh might have wanted to play in the MLB but a Working agreement was in place for most of his playing career that it wouldn't matter

Masanori "Mashi" Murakami was loaned to the giants in the mid 60's and pitched well enough that the SF Giants wanted to keep him on their team. however Murakami team in Japan contractual asserted their right to keep him in Japan. That to a 1967 "Working Agreement" between MLB and Japan, which was basically a hands-off policy.

It wasn't until Hideo Nomo found a loophole when he retired for one year and signed with the Dodgers that the current posting system was set up so the Japanese club would at least get compasation for a player

Why did the USA import and embrace ice hockey from our neighbor Canada and did not import and embrace soccer from our other neighbor, Mexico?

The Major League Soccer was founded very recently, just after the 1994 World Cup and one of its goals was, and I guess still is, to develop soccer’s popularity in North America. The professional major soccer league in Mexico is much older and the sport is very popular in the country and its been like that for a long time.So it would make no sense for an overlap of soccer. The mexicans already have teams, why would they create a MLS franchise? In Canada, on the other hand, soccer was in a similar state as it was in America. There was a growing interest in the game and huge potential for growth and no well established major soccer league, so they created some MLS franchises, I think they have three right now, but that could be wrong. It would make no sense for a mexican team to join the MLS. That would be the same thing as creating a canadian franchise that plays in the Kontinental Hockey League. Just like the MLS, the KHL probably wouldn’t even want that, they would rather want to develop their own.The National Hockey League had in their “Original Six” teams that were both american and canadian. The Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montréal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins were the first six teams to join the NHL and the league expanded from those six.

Do u need a high school diploma to play in the MLB?

No, but even if you do make it to the big leagues the chances of being an elite player for a long time (which means big money for a lot of years) is very slim. I don't care how good you are, you're going to need to do something when you retire at 35, and not having a high school diploma is seriously going to hurt you. In fact, I would almost argue that a college degree today is what a high school diploma was 50 years ago - but that's another conversation for another time.
