Can the Xbox One play Xbox 360 discs?

Some Xbox 360 games can be played on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility, yes, but not all of them.It doesn’t matter which flavour of Xbox One you have (whether original, S, or X), as it's all software-based and they have the same software. In order for a game to be backwards-compatible, Microsoft first has to enable it. I believe all they need to do so is authorisation from the game's publisher, and then they can go ahead and ‘turn it on'.Microsoft maintains a list of all the games that are enabled for backwards compatibility here.If your game is enabled, there are two ways you can go about playing it:If you bought the game in question digitally, find it on the Marketplace and just download it. Job done.If you own the physical disc, pop it into the drive. Your Xbox won't actually play or even install the game from the disc — it will download the complete game from the Marketplace. You only need the disc to verify that you own the game. You can also buy compatible 360 games off the Marketplace in the same way, if you don't already own them. When running on an Xbox One, the game runs in a self-contained emulator, which is why you can't run the game directly off the disc. The copy that gets downloaded includes this emulation software.

Can we play xbox one vs xbox 360 online?

So long as that game still has active servers, yes. This was true of the Xbox 360 vs the original Xbox (The Duke, as they call it) as well. The backwards compatibility feature of the One essentially emulates the 360 entirely, which includes the online services.

Which do you prefer, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One or PS4?

As the owner of a PC with a decent-ish graphics card (i.e. a low-mid range gaming PC) who has, thanks to the Humble Bundle more games on Steam than he is ever going to play:The Nintendo Switch has some great games for a lot of situations that my PC doesn’t and in some cases can’t (Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Smash, Overcooked) and can be played in ways my PC can’t as it’s portable. I play it whenever I want a light fun game (deeper games and strategy games being on my PC).The PS4 has a number of very good exclusive games that I don’t have access to on PC. There has never been a time that I’ve considered the PS4 superior to the PC when the same game is available on both due to better frame rates, better mods, and more versatile controllers on the PC. I own a PS4 but in the last three months have turned mine on once per month to collect the free PSN games; I may get Spider-Man for Christmas and spend about 20–30 hours playing it before I stop playing it.The XBox One has nothing I want - and indeed the few good games it has that the PC doesn’t like Red Dead Redemption 2 are shared by the PS4. I don’t own an XBox One and if I owned one would probably give it to a friend. If I didn’t own a PC I don’t know whether I’d want a PS4 with a Nintendo Switch as my second gaming device or just a Nintendo Switch.

Hori Fighting Stick 3 joystick not working on Windows 7?

So I tried to play Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition yesterday, and I went to the arcade stick controls. I tried to register all my buttons, and everything seemed working fine, other than my joystick. I can register the buttons, but the joystick will not do anything.

I checked the device manager, and it seems that the Point of View hat picks it up fine, but when I try to use it in game, nothing happens. Do I need a certain driver or something? I'd really like to not put this arcade stick to waste, so if anyone has any solutions or advice, please let me know.

PS: I'd like to also point out that the arcade stick is the PS3 version.

Thanks.
