Wfg World Financial Group - Transamerica

Is Transamerica Corporation and World Financial Group Legit?

if it seemed weird, then trust your instincts. I don't have experience with either company but you never get involved in anything if you have even the slightest doubt
If some "friend" brought you to a meeting, you tell your friend that you are not interested now but to speak to you 12 months from now when they can show you actual proof how much money they made. If they have made what was promised a year from now, then you will consider joining. But for now, you have your reservations and want to wait until he has been there at least a year and can provide actual proof

World Financial Group (WFG) Scam?

World Financial Group is an Aegon company. Aegon is one of the top 100 publicly traded companies on the planet according to Forbes Magazine. Other parts of the Aegon family include TransAmerica, WRL, U.S. Bank, and some ninety other companies worldwide, so I'd say it's a pretty legitimate company. WFG also works with about 75% of the companies on Wall Street so I'm also sure those companies, which include the likes of Pacific Life, Allianz, and many more have done their own due diligence and checked them out. They're most definitely not going to work with "another pyramid scheme".

Don't believe everything you see printed at some angry website. Anyone with a grudge can post anything they want. Competitors can do so to. Heck, it almost seems to be a simply point that any company around now has some website slamming it for some reason or other. I remember even seeing a site once that insisted a soap company was pushing "devil worship" because of the design of its pack???? If you want an idea just what I mean, go to any search engine and type in the name of whatever car you drive and put "sucks" at the end of it. Look at the hundreds of nasty things that come up. And yes, I've got friends with WFG and it is most definitely a serious, legitimate business opportunity that will require you to work to make it work.

World group financial, a scam?

My uncle (who I have not heard from in over a year) wants me to join world group financial. Went to one of the intro meetings, they're very pushy. Is it a scam???

How genuine is WFG (world financial group)?

Sandeep, WFG is a genuinely and remarkably poor opportunity for all people except for they who will thrive to recruit other people into this multi-level marketing (MLM) organization and to sell them very expensive and risky financial products, especially WFG's flagship insurance policy, Transamerica's FFIUL. This MLM claimed that in 2015 its total agent force plus its recruits totalled over a quarter million people, yet under 2,000 of them actually made a living wage (>$50, 000/year). For more info on WFG, please check this links:Is the WFG a scam?which takes you to many other links to check out.Hope this helps you.

Is World Financial Group a pyramid scheme?

Do not listen to BS and opinions…First, a pyramid scheme is based on people paying money to play. It does not have much to do with the shape of the compensation structure. WFG could be one but there is not much evidence on that.Second, WFG. By the website, they look like a broker company representing insurance, savings and other financial companies. They make commission and instead of using a simple compensation form, they use MLM. That is all fine…Questions to ask:I never found a clear compensation plan online so far. Just by the look of the images on the website, they seem to use a form of binary system (with 3 legs, aka. trinary)…or maybe not. Why is it not found on their main page? There may be a ‘hidden’ trick with registration fees, training costs and other upfront or recurring fees….dunno yet.If they resell products from many companies, there is a risk that distributors would suggest you the one that has most reward for them and not the one that suits you. Also, groups of people could ‘train’ downlines to do so even if the company does not know about it, within the rules of company policy. Risk.If they split the commission that previously went to 1–2 people among 6–7, there may be some funny parts of the compensation system. I would expect something unfair, but that is just an (un)informed guess.A well paid and well earning network marketer rarely leaves the company. Why would he? Soooooooo…….what the heck exactly about the message of the company?Find the commission plan and do the math behind it.

How legit is World Financial Group?

Like all mlm systems WFG pushes dreams of financial freedom through duplicatipn and recruiting new members.Unless you want to change careers amd become a Financial Planner, there is no reason to look at WFG.Here's a detailed look at World Financial Group which I wrote about a year ago:World Financial Group Review

What do you think about world financial group?

I've been with W.F.G. for quite a while now. Guess what? I love it. I came in knowing it was a business (just like my brother's 200 store-now franchise which he created) that would involve hard work; learning a new set of skills; having a business owner's mentality rather than an employee mindset; and having to become someone who actually was capable of sitting with families and providing them with financial options.

That's the same thing a traditional financial company offered me some years ago (without the chance to own my own business as well) when I came out of college, but one which was immediately withdrawn when it found that my family was one of the "poor" ones at the school I attended and I didn't have anyone in the $500K range for them to call. One BIG difference here is that I could actually become a broker. I know folks in some of the traditional companies and there is NO way they will ever be a broker there. Don't believe me? Try walking into almost any of them and telling them you want to be trained to open your own brokerage.

W.F.G. is one of the Aegon companies. Some of its sister companies (also owned by Aegon) are TransAmerica, Merrill Lynch insurance, etc., plus about 90 others worldwide. W.F.G. also markets the products of a lot of financial companies including trillion dollar ones (I don't want to name names here simply because I don't want this to appear as some sort of solicitation to sell); all of those companies have definitely done their due diligence and are working with W.F.G. because they know just how good it is at what it does and just how ethical it is.

W.F.G. has expanded into Canada and now into China. Here are some sites that you can explore.

(As an aside - if you're looking at being an entrepreneur, I suggest you might enjoy reading "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber. I'm sure you can find it at lots of libraries and also online. You might also like to check out: "The Dream Giver" by Bruce Wilkerson)

Is there a better company than World Financial Group?

It all depends on what you are looking to do.Imagine taking the best parts of corporate America, franchise model, and network marketing while leaving behind the worst parts of each. In other words, if you would like ownership, unlimited income, ability to build distribution, business-in-a-box like a franchise, and make quite literally save the lives of your clients BUT WITHOUT the high startup cost of a franchise, lack of ownership/mobility like corporate America, and having your friends/family hate you for pushing products and the requirement to recruit the world like network marketing, then it may be something you should look into.I’ve personally been in corporate America and had a franchise gym business, and I’m with WFG because I’ve yet to find a better business model in terms of market need, timing, passive income, leadership, industry size, and the moral compass to do the right thing for people in an industry that couldn’t find the right thing if it fell on their head.i hope this helps.Josh
