Does treadmill help in weight loss?

STOP doing the treadmill if you want ANY chance to LOSING WEIGHT. Here’s why…I’m not a big fan of the treadmill because it’s not the most effective way to burn fat.Cardio (or running on the treadmill) makes you more “efficient” at using fat as an energy source. This actually sounds like a fantastic idea, but it’s definitely NOT!Being efficient at using the fat on your body means you start to use that fat slower and “better” to fuel your running or any other cardiovascular activity. To be more “efficient” at using fat as an energy source means you’ll burn less of it, not more of it! You’re getting “more” out of “less.”The problem with treadmills or any other cardio machine gets even worse…As you become more and more efficient at storing fat then your only option is to go longer and harder, which then in turn only enhances the effect of burning less and less body fat as you get better conditioned! It’s a deadly snowball. This is the exact opposite of why you were introduced to cardio in the first place?Eventually, you have to go LONGER and HARDER to get the SAME effect as you did before, which is the law of diminishing returns. This sets up a very bad situation for your body, sex-drive, and lifestyle.WHY in the world would you participate in an activity where, after a while, you need to do more of it to get the same previous results? Especially when there are easier, faster and smarter options such as this brand-new approach to burn fat that is way more effective for weight loss right now.One particular study found that the metabolic rate and fat burning potential of those involved in this NEW approach to fat loss was actually at its peak during the twenty four hours following the workout as opposed to those who did long stints of exercise at a slower pace such as the treadmill. As you have see, this new approach to training is a major component of the after-burn effect. In recent studies this other form of training has also been shown to increase insulin levels while at the same time reduce body fat, this makes this kind of training promising for the reduction of diabetes. In short, incorrect cardio reduces your calorie-burning machinery. It gives you a smaller and more efficient engine.

Is running on treadmill enough to lose weight?

The best way to lose weight is to reduce calories in. Calories spent is inefficient, no matter which exercise you choose. It’s basic math.As an example:Bicycling, Stationary. 30 minutes : moderate 210 - 311 caloriesCalories in an egg and cheese sandwich: 340 caloriesI lost over 220 lbs and I did not exercise. I work out now, but for other reasons. Lower your calories, do some moderate exercise, and you will see the weight fall off. Use a diary for your foods, track everything you eat - every single bite that goes into your mouth, and forget what healthcare professionals say about how many calories you “should” eat. Just eat less than what you do now, and you’re set.Good luck!Calories burned in 30 minutes for people of three different weights - Harvard HealthFree Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com

Wealthy quorans: What do you fear that would be detrimental to your wealth?

I try not to fear but be aware of. There's a big difference. The most detrimental to my wealth would be a poverty mentality and that's mostly based in fear and lack of confidence. And unless you are born rich, that is usually programmed into your subconscious mind by society, so you need to free your mind of fear. The mind is split into two: the conscious and the subconscious. The subconscious is what really matters, what produces the results. The conscious exist just to act as a gatekeeper for the subconscious. Duality (good-bad, light-dark, big-small) exists only in the conscious mind. The social conditioning related to the fear of failure happens during school, up to university. Failure to take an exam is seen as the ultimate individual failure, in a system that promotes individual achievement. After 20 years of conditioning, your mind is programmed in a certain way. If you are "lucky enough" to be six figures in student debt as well, welcome to a world of financial bondage and conformity. The perfect tool to kill your entrepreneurial dreams. The way to conquer your fear is to face it. That rare condition that blends thinking and doing and achieves the impossible. Locked in and engaged. I am on a mission and success is the only option. This quote by Will Smith captures the essence of the fear free mentality:“The only thing that I see that is distinctly different about me is I'm not afraid to die on a treadmill. I will not be out-worked, period. You might have more talent than me, you might be smarter than me, you might be sexier than me, you might be all of those things you got it on me in nine categories. But if we get on the treadmill together, there's two things: You're getting off first, or I'm going to die. It's really that simple."So, are you afraid to die on the treadmill? The answer to this apparently simple question holds the key to either your wealth or poverty. Food for thought.
