What Actually Happened During The Dinosaur Laser Fight Of Dinosaur High

Why do the people in Jurassic World think that dinosaurs would be useful in the military?

Because the military uses animals in real life. In the Navy, Owen trained dolphins to search for marine mines; people do the same thing in the real Navy. And from what I’ve read, the mine-searching dolphins do their job very effectively. The US spends vastly more on its military than any other country—more than the next nine highest spenders combined. As my friend who dealt with military receipts would tell you, if you contract for the US military, you can get way overpaid. While InGen wants to use the velociraptors for missions, the company is even more interested in creating genetically modified animals like the Indominus Rex—which isn’t technically a dinosaur—for military purposes. The very athletic Indominus Rex could camouflage, hide from thermographic technology, was bulletproof, extremely violent, and extremely intelligent. Along with the fact that it kills for purposes other than eating, these attributes and abilities make it very attractive as a soldier-animal.If it would have followed orders, a smaller version of the Indominus Rex could have indeed gotten InGen a nice piece of the $600 billion dollar per year US military spending pie.And success with one animal would have guaranteed them a lot of funding to create others—for military or other purposes. Maybe they could’ve made a “dinosaur” that would could replace work horses or seeing eye dogs. With the results we saw in the Indominus Rex, the movie insinuates that there was no end to what gene-splicing could do. Of course, InGen was wrong about their program’s viability. But if they had been right, the couple-hundred million or so the theme park made per year would have paled in comparison to their gene-splicing program.

What did dinosaurs really look like?

We don't know, mostly.Oh, we've got some good guesses. And for a handful of species, we even have skin or feather impressions. And we can fairly accurately reconstruct the skeletons. But soft tissue reconstruction takes some guesses. Sometimes a lot of guesses. And when it comes time for adding external features like feathers or noses or even just colors…it's almost all what the artist thinks looks good at the time. And it can make a lot of difference. For example, here's a bear:and here's a bear that lost its fur due to disease:Look like totally different animals, right? Now suppose all we had were ancient fossils of bears - there weren't any living ones and even close relatives had been gone for fifty, sixty million years. If you reconstruct a bear, knowing nothing about it but its bones, Mister hairless is just as likely a “look" you could choose as the correct version. And you wouldn't know any different.Tl;dr - we're not entirely sure.

How much closer was the moon to the earth during the age of dinosaurs?

Some theoretical studies suggest that original the moon did form about 2 earth diameters away, or about 20 to 30 thousand km. Simulations predict that if it formed closer by this would have ripped the moon apart due to gravity. It is not easy to see how it could have been much further either. Seems unlikely that the debris caused by some impact got many earth diameters away. The first real evidence comes from coral and tidal records. There are estuaries (Southern Australia) where one can find tidal records many centuries long. Deposits of sand and silt alternate to give a good record on daily and monthly moon cycles. That we can still read those is because some are now well beyond current water level. From that it appears evident that about 600 million years back the earth rotation already had slowed down sufficient to be about 21 hours per day. Coral grows daily and seasonal growing cycles create bands much like trees do. Coral (in Mexico) from about 350 million years back suggest the Earth year to be around 385 days. Obvious this does not mean the earth went slower around the sun but that the day was shorter about 23 hoursSince you ask about dinosaurs that limits it from about 250 million to 65 million years ago. So then we would expect the time to be more towards 23 hours. Our moon currently moves away with about an inch each year. We know that since the moon landings and lasers accurate measure its distance. 65 million inch is about 1600 km. That is a little less than the diameter of the moon. With current distance of about 384000 km there could fit about 30 earths in between us and our most famous companion.

Is Barney the Dinosaur evil?

Woah woah woah, sir, please don't talk $hit about Barney the dinosaur. He is an imaginative character prompting positive moral values in children. The reason he is a gentle dinosaur is to make kids seem less afraid of what is scary to them. Child molesters want nothing more than to rape kids, and get rid of them. Barney constantly tells children he loves them and never shows any notation of sexual desire. Shame on you... What you are hinting at is bestiality, you sick F#$K. It's a children's show. He has never hinted at religious standpoints also, especially satanism or anarchy. He respects all faiths and HE ISN'T PINK... HE'S PURPLE ! ! !
