There may be a few 11 year olds that are close to being mature enough to handle the emotional and mental effects of a sexual/romantic kiss - but not many in both my opinion and in the opinion of much of modern western culture. There are laws that indicate the general perception of society in most places, look at them and see them as guidelines - you don’t need to have your first intercourse at the earliest legal age after all, that is the earliest you can legally - plenty will break the law and have it earlier, plenty more will have it much, much, later. Earlier seems to result more often in complications that later though, so always keep that in mind. After all you have the rest of your life ahead of you at 11. (unless you are a woman and want children you should probably start by your 30s at the latest - that gives you over 20 years to start).I personally had much more going on at a younger age than that - and though I do not regret what happened, I do know it changed my mindset and view of the world as I went racing down the path of sexuality before my puberty fully hit. I definitely lost much of the attitude of ‘innocence’, and it took time for me to discover the importance of relating to my partners on a different level, and to understand the subtleties that a truly adult relationship can contain. Others I personally know had their first ‘real’ kiss after 18, and lost nothing for the delay, and may even have had a better first kiss because of it...

So think about looking back at your 20s from the perspective of your 30s etc. I don’t know what age group you’re in but here’s my experience.I'm 34 and I'm in a relationship with a 45 year girl that's not going so well. We've been together for 12 years now and for the past couple years all I keep hearing is why can't you be more mature or you've done that because you’re not mature. I also hear, you’re in your 30s but in 10 more years you'll understand what I'm talking about, etc. I also know of another couple that has an 11 year difference with the Guy in his late 40s and the girl in her late 50s and he hears the same maturity speech as I do. Maybe it’s easier when the male is older but I have no knowledge of that.I can't say my experience will be like yours but there's something true when I look back at my 20s and remember the stupidity I did behind the wheel and now in my 30's when I see somebody do like I did I think 'My God, there are other people on the road…COME ON!!!'I think you get what I’m saying. Well we begin school in August and finish in May. These are the ages they are.Kindergarten you have to be over 5 years old that means your usually 6 by the end of the grade. going to the bathroom is a right and that they are entitled to go whenever they like. Sometimes they don't even bother to ask permission. I tell them that it's something that must be earned like any other reward. If they do their chores and get good grades, they get bathroom privileges. Is this something that they will outgrow or will I have to start punishing them for their shenanigans?
