What Am I Born Us But Parents Were Not.

If my parents were born in Mexico but i was born in the U.S., what race am i?

C'mon.. Surely you know that's makes you a mexican-american.
But for the most part you are still basically a mexican.
No,you are not white.
I'll just leave it at that.

Born in the U.S, parents are mexican?

Your birthplace or you parent's birthplace has no bearing on your race, only on your nationality.
By law, you are an American because you were born in America. I don't know anything about the laws regarding citizenship for people born in Mexico.
"Mexican-American" is not a race any more than "American" is a race.

What race am I if I was born in the US but my Parents are Mexican?

Most likely you are a white, Mexican-American. But you can be of any race…It helps to understand the differences in terminology. A person born in the United States is an American (nationality). Your parents are Mexican…Mexican is a nationality, while Latino or Hispanic is an ethnic group, usually of Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, or other Spanish culture from say South or Central America.Keep in mind that the terms "Hispanic" and "Latino," which are often used interchangeably, do not mean exactly the same thing. Hispanic refers to any ancestry of Spanish decent, while Latino refers to someone from Latin American – so a person from Brazil would be a Latino, but not necessarily a Hispanic, while someone from Spain would be Hispanic, but not Latino. That being said, most Latinos are Hispanic. Either way, Hispanics and/or Latinos can be of any race. So for example, you can be a white Hispanic, or a black Hispanic.Bottom line – you haven’t given enough information to accurately determine your race, but it is clear you are Hispanic/Latino American.

If you are born to Mexican parents but in the U.S. are you not Mexican ?

A young man is offended to be called Mexican because since he was born in the United States he is Hispanic? Can't figure this one out. If I were Italian but I had children in Germany, they would still be Italian children...so whats the difference?

What Nationality am I if I was Born here In the US and my parents born in another country?

Many Ignorant people say that you are what your parents are. Here's my background. My mother was born In Cuba, but her parents are from Spain. My father was born here in US and his mother is from Canada his father is from France. And I was Born here in the US. What am I? Cause many people tell me that I'm not american. That I am what my parents are.

If both my parents are Mexican Americans and I was born in the US, what’s my race?

Your race is not reliant upon where you were born. Do not confuse nationality, ethnicity, and race. I suspect you are actually wondering about your ethnicity, but as to address the question as thoroughly as possible, I will address all three.-By definition, nationality is:the status of belonging to a particular nation.an ethnic group forming part of one or more political nationsIf if you were born in the United States, then you are an American citizen. Assuming you were raised and still live there, then your nationality (based on the first definition) is American. That being said, nationality is not quite as clearly defined as other classifications, and if you were born in the USA but later moved to Mexico and lived most of your life there, you might identify as Mexican.-Ethnicity deals more with what you are likely meaning to ask- cultural identity and heritage. By definition, it is:the fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition. You can identify with multiple ethnicities though you only have one race. If your parents are Mexican-Americans, then you would likely be classified as “Hispanic or Latino origin” but might also be something else, if for instance your parents are from Mexico but descended from another region.-Finally, as to directly answer your question, race is:any one of the groups that human beings can be divided into based on shared distinctive physical traitsa group of individuals who share a common culture or historya major group of living things the human raceRace is typically considered to be either black or white. Though some censuses further subdivide these categories (into American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, and White), many argue that these actually address ethnicity, not race. I cannot determine your race from the details provided in your question.-tl;dr: You are most likely a Hispanic/Latino American but I do not know your race.

Which US presidents were not born in the United States?

From what I know, the Constitution allows a candidate for President to have at least one parent who is an American Citizen. They can be born in France, and as long as one of their parents are American citizens at the time of their birth, they can run for President.I believe Martin Van Buren was the first U.S President born in the country of the United States. Ironically, his first language was Dutch, not English. All of his predecessors plus his successor were born in the territory of the United States, but the land was owned by Britain at that time and the country of the United States had not been established by thenGeorge Washington was born in the territory known as Virginia, part of British America, which were the colonies reigned by Britain the U.S was not established by then.John Adams was born in the territory Massachusetts, also part of British America. For Thomas Jefferson, see George WashingtonFor James Madison, see Thomas JeffersonFor James Monroe, see James MadisonFor John Quincy Adams, see John AdamsAndrew Jackson was born somewhere between South Carolina and North Carolina, the territory being owned by BritainMartin Van Buren was the first American born to be president, having been born in Kinderhook, New YorkFor William Henry Harrison, see James MonroeOtherwise, no president has been born outside of the land that is part of the United States, but many candidates for president have been born outside of the United States.Ted Cruz sought out the Republican Nomination in 2016, but lost the nomination to Donald Trump. His parents were both American Citizens, but he was born in Calgary, Canada.John McCain was the Republican Nominee in 2008. Both his parents were American Citizens, and he was born in a military base (I think) in the Panama Canal - which was U.S. territory at the time (idk if it still is)George Romney sought out the Republican nomination in 1968, but lost to Richard Nixon. He was born in Mexico, and his parents were American citizens, allowing him to run for President. He is also the father of 2012 Republican Nominee and Former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt RomneyOh and don’t forget, Barack Obama was born in Kenya :)
