What are some animes like Ouran High School Host Club?
It led me to Fruits Basket, a story of this girl, Tohru Honda who befriends a family who is cursed to turn into animals of the Chinese zodiac when hugged by the opposite gender. For some reason, the head of the family, Akito, allows her to know their secret though he definitely does NOT like her. I love this manga because of humor and plot twists.It also (surprisingly) led me to Snow White with the Red Hair, or Akagami no Shirayukihime (Japanese name). It is about a girl who is wanted by the prince because of her beautiful red hair. So she flees to a bordering country and befriends a stranger who turns out to be a prince. In this kingdom, she becomes an herbalist and starts another life. But, this time there is a prince in her life. It is not a story like Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella (there was a whole episode on that). The anime is much better than the manga in my opinion. This is one of my favorites because Shirayuki is smart.
