Another question got me thinking about this one. WHAT is with corn fields and horror movies? There is so many where corn fields are a big part of the movie. Sure, Creepers 2 was great, but I did not think of it until now; people who make horror movies LOVE corn fields. Hmmm....

Is there a movie where Kristen Stewert is in a corn field?
It's a sunflower field, & it's from The Messengers. People take parts of movies Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart are in to try & make their own Twilight movie trailers, but none of them are real scenes from Twilight. Twilight is not even close to being done filming, & isn't set to release until December 12, 2008. An offical trailer has yet to be released.
I am thinking of a horror movie that I seen. It takes place in a cornfield and has a scarecrow.?
The movie I am thinking of takes place in an abandoned house in the middle of a cornfield. There is a group of teenage kids that get stranded and walk through the cornfield. When in the cornfield there is a scarecrow that runs around and kills them. I think he uses like claws or nails attached to his hands to kill them. The scarecrow cannot leave the cornfield if I remember right. Everyone the scare crow has killed seems to go through like a ritual where once they are dead they will go into the house and start using a sewing machine. After using the sewing machine they pick up a hammer and start nailing nails through their fingers. In the movie it plays a flashback of a father and his two sons. I believe they are the ones who once lived in the house, and possibly one of the brothers from the flash back turns into the scarecrow. This is all I can remember from the movie. If anyone has any ideas to what this movie is I would love to hear them. Thanks.
Why are the corn stalks at the corners of corn fields shorter than the rest of the field?
These areas of the field get less water and fertilizer, so they grow shorter. They get less water because the edges of the field typically slope downward, or the sprinklers cannot reach that area of the field, same with the fertilizer. I have seen this in other fields, nurseries and sod farms. It happens in a lot of farming systems.
