What Are Clothes With Cross Design On Them Called

What does the purple cloth on the cross mean?

Purple is the colour of royalty. Roman senators had a purple border on their togas when they sat in the senate house. Kings in the middle east in biblical times wore purple robes and painted their rooms purple. Purple was a colour denied to the masses.
The cloth is called a Pall. It is what is draped over a coffin, and an item of clothing that a priest wears when officiating at a funeral.

What do you call a guy that like wearing women's clothes but he's straight?

I'm a 19 year old guy and I like to be girly. Since 2010 I'm wearing girly clothes. I'm in grade 12 and since grade 10 I had been wearing girls school uniform regularly to school!! No one says anything to me. My school uniform is blue and green plaid skirt with knee high socks and white shirt. Plus, in our school it is compulsory only for girls to wear makeup or colored nails. But I put medium dark makeup and change my nail color every week! I have pink hello kitty nail for this week! When I hangout with my friends, I usually wear short shorts or skirt with a cute top!! My friends always accept me the way I am. I like girly stuff and love hello kitty and Barbie so much!! All I wanted to know was if anyone talked about me, what would you call me then? Like feminine men, or gay, or androgynous?or anything else
Thanks for reading this and helping me!! Xoxo kisses

What does the cloth wrapped around a cross mean?

I *believe*
that it is supposed to represent the idea that Jesus is no longer on the cross, that Jesus has escaped (or surpassed) death by Crucifixion.

I.e. it represents that Jesus has risen after suffering Crucifixion.

The cloth is **symbolically referential to** the grave clothes that remained in Jesus' burial tomb, that were discovered after Jesus' resurrection.

I noticed an inverted cross on all the doors in my home. what could this mean?

The Cross of St. Peter or Petrine Cross is an inverted Latin cross traditionally used as a Christian symbol. It is said that when Simon Peter (later St. Peter) was crucified, he requested it be carried out upside down because he did not feel he was worthy to die in the same fashion as Christ.

While in recent years this symbol has been adopted as a symbol of the anti-Christian or satanic worship, it remains a symbol of St. Peter in the Christian religion and the Catholic Church (see the article below with the picture of the Pope's throne).

So, no worries! The symbol does actually have a religious meaning, not an evil one.

Cheers!

Why are women who wear jeans/trousers not called crossdressers?

Fashion is a social construct and subject to change. It was a very long time ago that pants weren't considered feminine and now women can wear jeans without being considered cross-dressers because wearing jeans is a socially acceptable thing for women to do. And fashion is based on social constructs, not something that is set in stone.Short shorts used to be for men, as well as what we would probably consider 'tights'  or 'leggings' today, so why is it that you don't consider leggings a sign of a female cross-dresser? Well because men stopped wearing that attire a long time ago. Bu, male kilts aren't unheard of. Do we consider them cross-dressers? No. But they have a similar look to skirts, or skorts. There's no universal, set in-stone clothing that is acceptable for men and women, as it's switched up a lot over time. If women can't wear jeans, would they wear leggings? Well wasn't that something men used to do? Should women just go pantless? Also, plenty of guys here wear nail polish. And I know guys who go crazy over things like shoes and hats, having large collections. One guy loves his shoes so much he only wears them twice a year. I believe the first day of school, and his birthday. Another guy has a huge collection of shoes, probably bigger than mine. Another guy I know wants to start a hat collection. I think men accessorize just fine. I don't know many girls who still feel nail polish is the main style. Anymore, it's fake nails and French manicures. And many guys I know don't like that look and wouldn't want something like that on their nails. Though if a guy started wearing them I doubt anyone would make a big deal out of it. I also live in the city, so that could be why. Perhaps your problem is location?

What is the sewing technique called with the x's?

It is called cross-stitch embroidery. It is done with embroidery floss, an embroidery needle and hoop.

You can find pre-stamped items in craft stores. They may also have kits with instructions and the floss included.
