What are some fun things to have at a party?
I am planning on throwing a massive birthday party, already have ideas for a chocolate fountain, photo booth, Dj, what are some other cool/fun things to have? Maybe an ice sculpture? What else do you think would make it an awesome party or be fun? A candy station? Lmk! Thank you!

Is partying a bad or good thing?
i love to party. i love to drink girl im just like you they say the same thing to me all the time.. i was raised to party like that, and i still do it. i used to throw partys all the time, i mean there will be a **** load of people their, we all would be drunk. i mean there is nothing wrong with partying. just don't over do it to where you get alcohol poision. but partying lets all the stress out, and keeps you happy. Sure, listen to the people promoting alcohol and weed. Then, when you get caught and busted for drug possession and underage drinking, have them bail you out. Your party sounds perfectly fine as is. =] You're lucky, I still don't have snow on the ground yet. @Annie: x] right attitude. What are some good things to bring to a beach party?
flip flops beach ball sunglasses beach towel sun screen beach chairs and table bbq grill(if allowed-some beaches you can build a fire some not. better check) grill mitts, utensils a cooler or two-one for food one for beverages paper plates, , napkins, cutlery cans of soda or beer or both potato chips or torilla chips with dip/salsa hot dogs, hamburg patties rolls mustard, ketchup, bbq sauce, marshmellows chocolate bars or kisses for making s'mores graham crackers
On balance, is party politics a good thing or a bad thing for democracy?
Good!It’s simple. A democracy seems to thrive the most when change happens slowly. Party politics seems to slow things down because someone is always resisting the change one party is trying to enact. Obviously this slows things down and the people can get used to the changes over time. I think this holds true for both economic politics and social politics.Imagine if, during the 1950s, the government had enacted gay marriage, civil rights, affirmative action, legal abortion, took away all gun rights, etc., and then put into place the hundreds of thousands of regulations, fees, and taxes that have they’ve created in the last 66 years all in the span of one election cycle. Not only would the people freak out and revolt over the social changes, the regulations would cause an economic meltdown of epic proportions. Heck, we see a small example of how quick changes cause problems when the gas prices jumped from $1 a gallon to $4 a gallon in a span of a few years. People’s finances weren’t able to absorb the change because it was just too much to handle over such a short time span and this greatly added to the economic recession.In a way, this is what happened in Russia and China when the communists took over almost overnight. There was no balance of party power and it caused decades and decades of economic poverty and social oppression because there was no system of checks and balances. It was horrible. People can say “we’re smarter than that, now” all they want, but so far history has shown that one-sided party politics causes economic poverty and oppression 100% of the time. Sometimes it takes a couple generations, but eventually they get there.
