What Are Inputs To An Insurance Company

Can an insurance company drop your auto insurance any time?

I have had 3 claims in 4 years. The first two claims where while living in another state. I since moved and just put in my third claim today (first claim with this company). My insurance payment really isn't all that high, about $75 monthly. The lady told me today that it would go up 10% if the cost was over $750. (it will be)

She said this didn't effect my insurability or anything, but what if I had another accident in a year??

The real question is, can an insurance company drop you for any reason at any time? Some have said no, only within the first 60 days, others say yes, absolutely any time.

What's the right answer?

Will my insurance company notify the DMV with proof of insurance?

Just drive to the DMV and give them a hard copy. That way your not gonna run into issues. In almost every state you MUST have insurance to drive a car. If you don't have it, your gonna end up with a pretty big fine and probably get your license suspended. The cops don't care if you have your insurance ID car on you when they pull you over. If the DMV says you don't, they might as well put you in the back of their car. If the cop is in a good mood he might just give you a warning.

Is the insurance company jerking me around or is this normal?

I got hit by a truck on March 18th over a month ago. I contacted a lawyer concerning a mild injury. The lawyer was mostly concerned about the injury claim and my main concern is my property damage. The drivers side door doesn't open and the window is broken. I have been suffering climbing thru my passenger side door hurting my back and rain and worrying about water damage since Ihave no garage. The lawyer started the claims process since the insurance comp didn't have any1 to answer the phones just send u to vm no matter which number i googled and called for them unlike my ins i got thru to a real person np. But other than the lawyer starting my property damage claim they have don't nothing unless it pertains to my injury. No1 was ticketed at the scene. The adjuster doesn't answer or return calls,I am very fed up ith my vehicle being in this condition and limiting me. I do have the $$ to fix this bu was advised by a repair shop that insurance companies don't pay if u fix it out of your own pocket. How can I make them hurry up and just give me any answer even a no so I ca fix this myself.. tho I wasn't moving they still have not claimed liability, the officer at the scene was no help. I am very frustrated and will appreciate any advice,
How can I get them to get moving on my PD claim?? Could care less about speed in injury claim but just on property damage. FYI I have liability only

What Insurance company covers rental car for maintenance breakdown?

Buying car insurance is like going to a salad bar and building your own salad. No two salads are the same and no two insurance policies are the same. If you never paid for rental car coverage, you shouldn't expect it to be on your policy. Apparently you decided to buying towing but never thought to buy the rental car coverage.

Now's the perfect time to check and see if your liability limits still make sense because most car owners are wayyyyyyy underinsured. If you bought just the state minimum coverage of 100,000 and maim someone, they'll come after you for the balance. Also ask your agent about PIP stacking, glass coverage, gap insurance (if you own a new vehicle and paid a low down payment), and an umbrella.

What if an employee in an insurance company couldn't achieve a sales target?

It is simple input output business .A sales employee job is to sell the insurance policies and collect new business premium .This business is not in control of employee hence employee is not penalised .However , to generate business wiich is not controllable , employee is supposed to do certain inputs which is controllable .Insurance companies demand adherence to minimum inputs and on case these inputs are not done then insurance companies take action like putting under observation , work under development plan , demand explaination .Insyrance companies work on inputs rather output . They know that if right input is done then it will always lead to business number .

Can I claim the GST paid for my car insurance in an income tax return?

Your car should be used in the business and same should also be reflected in your assets side of your balance sheet if you want to avail benefit of depreciation on the value of car in income tax. There are two scenarios.Regarding benefit under GST. GST input is not allowed on purchase of motor vehicles as per section 17(5) and it will be added to the cost of your car. In case of your repairs & maintenance bill or your insurance bill, GST input can be claimed if your GSTN is mentioned on the invoice, in that case GST will not be included in the cost as you will be able to claim its input.Regarding benefit under Income Tax. On the car value as you are not able to claim input you have to take total amount paid by you as cost and calculate depreciation on it. In case of repair & maintenance bill or insurance bill, if you're claiming GST input then invoice value excluding GST amount will be transferred to p&l account as expense and if you're not claiming GST input then total invoice amount will be transferred to p&l account as expense.
