What is a good NCLEX review online?

Passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX™) fulfills the testing needs for licensing each registered nurses and sensible or business nurses. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) developed the examination so as to check the competence of novice nurses. it's administered by Pearson VUE, supplier of computer-based testing. The simplest review courses cowl the fabric totally, square measure updated often, and permit unlimited access to materials throughout the subscription amount. variety of organizations offer review courses for the additional demanding NCLEX-RN™, and several other additionally provide a review course for the NCLEX-PN™.

I'm so scared to take the NCLEX-RN!!!!?

First thing you should know is that someone telling you to calm down is not going to work. I have been a RN for the past 30 years, and still remember the trauma of having to sit through the NCLEX. When I took it, the test was two days long and four hours each day.
Today, it is done on computer, and when you have answered either enough right answers, or enough wrong answers, it locks you out. Now that you know what is going to happen, it might make it a little easier to face.
You say that you feel like you don't know enough about everything. Well, let me tell you something that you may really not know, the school you attended, would not have graduated you if they felt like you did not know enough to at least pass the NCLEX. Not one person who leaves school and sits for the NCLEX knows all there is to know about being a good nurse. That comes with experience and an open heart, as well as an open mind. That is why it is called "The practice of Medicine".
The best "tip" I can give you is to not study at all the day before the test, because, you know the answers needed to pass, and the more you study the day before the test...the more you are going to second guess yourself the day of the test. Relay, you will do fine.

Does Cypress College have a good Nursing Program?

Right after high school, I want to go to a college with a nursing program and I'm considering Cypress College. I was considering Long Beach City College, but they only allow Cal State transfer afterward, and I want to attend a UC afterward, like UCI or UCSD.

What books, sites or other materials has anyone found extremely helpful when preparing to take the NCLEX?

Use ATI. It is the Best. I took the NCLEX and passed with 75 questions. I bought their study package. It was only around $100, since we had to use it during nursing school. I recognized about 40 questions that I had seen on the ATI practice tests. I should also mention that when I received my test date, I did 100 questions daily until test day. On test day, I woke up at my usual time, did 50 questions to warm up my brain, then went to take the test. I finished in less than an hour. You should also do some research about the test and how it works. It is Computer Adaptive Testing. You should Google this term so you understand how the test works. A passing grade is the minimum required to be allowed to practice. If you continue to to get questions, you are on the passing side. If you answer too many questions incorrectly, the test will shut you down and you fail. Read up and know how the test functions as well as studying for the actual test. Prepare yourself emotionally and physically before you arrive.

How hard is the RN-NCLEX?

SUPER HARD! IT IS THE HARDEST EXAM IN THE WORLD. SATAN INVENTED THIS EXAM THATS WHY ITS SO HARD.

YOU HAVE TO STUDY MORE THAN YOU THINK! AND YES YOU CAN USE A CALCULATOR! THEY WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE THE CALCULATOR AND A PAD TO WRITE YOUR NOTES IN.

AND THE MATH QUESTIONS IN THE EXAM ARE THE "LOW-LEVEL" QUESTIONS... IF YOU GET LOTS OF THESE, YOU ARE FAILING.

IF YOU DONT GET MATH QUESTIONS, MOST LIKELY MEANS YOU PASSED.

What are good registered nursing programs in California?

I am currently attending a community college in the bay area and I'm so ready to apply for nursing programs at other schools! I wanted to know which schools have good nursing programs in the state of California. It would also be great if anyone has information on the wait list time to get into the program. For instance, SFSU is not one of my choices because I know the major is impacted there and I would never get in. I've tried USF but didn't get accepted (which was not a surprise, given that the school is super hard to transfer into). I also tried Dominican University; unfortunately, I was accepted into the school but not the nursing program. My last part of the question is, what's the difference between an A.S. in registered nursing versus a B.S. in registered nursing? Thanks in advance!
