If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish" indeed. Please do NOT fall a victim to FASHION ACCESSORIES by buying Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), BE THEM FAKE OR NOT!

What is a good budget pair of earphones for the Redmi Note 3?
I have owned the Redmi Note 3 and I'm currently using my pair of Tekfusion’s Twinwoofers M 2.0 headset I got for Rs.1999, and it is an outstanding upgrade to audio, and the two goes very well. The reason I chose the M 2.0 is that it has studio-quality sound and a terrific bass response. In fact, the bass quality and extension on the M 2.0 is impeccable, and much better than most headphones in under that price range.The Twinwoofers M 2.0 does come with a very good sturdy cable, which doesn’t tangle at all. It is one of the strongest cable I have seen in a pair of in-ear headphones. Also, it comes with a nice durable case in which you can just put the earphones on the go.I have recommended the M 2.0 to many of my friends and trust me, you will love it once you try them! If you are planning to get them online, then I would suggest to get only an original tekfusion product, either from Tekfusion’s online store or from PayTM. If your budget is not big, then go for headphones. Headphones are good for home music production and mixing practices. (Dont overuse headphones at high volumes). Headphones are even batter for mixing, than studio monitors in home audio production, becoz headphone completely ignore room acaustics (those are not good in ur living room). If you have budget of 10k, then you can buy both, studio monitors and headphones.You will need studio monitors when you have a nicely treated room.

Hi Ms. Asparagus The best brands, in your price range, for studio work are Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, and AKG. There are also decent models by Shure, Koss, & Sony in your price range (all have good $100 models). Beyerdynamic and Sony also have models in the $200+ range, but I think that's overkill. Headphones & comfort can be a big "personal" thing: long hours with 'phones on can be sweaty or physically painful, so you might treat your b/f to a shopping trip or a gift certificate and let him try on various models. I've dealt with the pro's at Sweetwater (Fort Wayne, Indiana), and am impressed with both selection and personalized customer service.
