What Are Some Good Hotels In Las Vegas

How good or bad is Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas?

Personally, I like Circus Circus. Yes, there are a lot of kids. Yes, much of the hotel casino is ‘70’s gauche. And sadly, they converted the Horse-A-Round Bar from an actual bar to an ice cream parlor… if you saw “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” you’ll know the utter travesty this is.Having said that, this is the 2nd best place in LV if you like to play arcade-style video games (the Pinball Hall of Fame on E. Tropicana is hands-down #1). And you can’t beat The Steak House at CC (including the one in Reno) unless you go to Delmonico’s in NYC.The Adventuredome I can take or leave. I enjoyed the Laser Tag arena, but the majority of rides really need an overhaul. I think my spine compressed 2″ after riding the Sand Pirates because the seats were so uncomfortable. It’s better to take your kids to Disneyland… unless you wish to dash your kid’s hope of being in the Army by firing at him/her relentlessly, in the eyes, with continued laser bursts. “Why can’t I join the Army?” your son asks. Replies the Army doctor, “Because your corneas have melted onto your nipples. On the plus side, your nipples now have 20/20 vision. Have you considered the Air Force?”The circus acts are standard Barnum & Bailey fare. You’ll find the same parlor games at a San Gennaro Feast. But the nice thing with CC is that you don’t have to pay an entrance fee unless you visit the Adventuredome.CC is what it is. If you have kids, they’ll have a great time. If you’re feeling nostalgic, you’ll have a great time as well. The circus acts are fine. Hotel accommodations are decent for the price of being on the Strip. There’s really nothing to complain about.

How can I get a good hotel room for cheap in Las Vegas?

The best opportunity to get a hotel room on the cheap in Las Vegas on the strip (other than having the casino comp it), is to travel to Las Vegas in August or in the first three weeks of December. The average daily rate (ADR) for a strip property is $112.50 in August and $114.66 in December according to the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authorities website, so there are definitely 50% of properties below those ADR’s. To find the specific properties, go to a third party website like Hotels.com and plug in your dates, location (strip) and use the slider on the price range selection to narrow down the results. I plugged in Dec 19–24th 2017 for the strip and a ton of well known properties came up for under $100. Some nice ones at $105.Each column represents each month starting with JanuaryAs you can see from the PDF screen shot (which is current through 2016), to stay in Vegas on the cheap, you need to stay off the strip, like in downtown where you can find rates well under $100 every day of the year. However, if you have kids, I’d stay away from downtown.Your other option is to stay off strip but near the strip at one of the local casinos, like the Rio or Gold Coast for example however, you would need to cab it to the strip if you wanted to walk up and down it.By the way, if you are wondering why August and December are the slow months it is because August (and July) temperatures average 106 degrees each day and you better hope there is no breeze because it feels like a convection oven when the wind blows. As for December, nobody travels in December due to the fact we (you…me…all of us) tend to spend our money on holiday shopping and/or saving for a family trip during Christmas time which by the way, is the single slowest week of the year. You can find anything the 1–2 weeks before Christmas and it is the best time to score an upgrade to a suite if you know how (see my post on how to get an free upgrade in Las Vegas, read by over 800K Quora readers with over 2K upvotes) But come December 27, you won’t be able to find a room on the cheap because the hotels begin to fill up for New Years Eve, the town sells out and rates sky rocket.

Here are the top 10 hotels for families (as voted by Yahoo! Users):

Excalibur Hotel & Casino
Circus Circus Hotel & Casino
Cancun Resort Las Vegas
Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas Strip South
MGM Grand
The Orleans Hotel & Casino
Riviera Hotel & Casino
New York-New York Hotel & Casino
Flamingo Las Vegas
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

I've been to the Excalibur (which has a Camelot theme) and it's a fun and non-fussy place. Even if you don't stay there, Circus Circus is a fun spot for families who like carnival games.

Best hotel in Las Vegas?

It really depends on what your want: best beds, best gym, best spa, best casino, best crowd, best atmosphere, best food/restaurants... and then of course if you want to be around young crowds, loud crowds, mature crowds, classy people etc... If money is no object you can choose from Mandarin Oriental, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn etc. Mid-range is Mandalay Bay, MGM, Paris, Rio... otherwise you can go downton (if you are on a budget but want somewhere nice, for example)

Where can I find cheap hotels in Las Vegas?

There are many good hotel booking websites, like Booking.com and Hotels.com and I quite like HRS - Hotel Reservation Service as an alternative.Obviously for price comparison you can use http://www.trivago.com and Compare & Save on Cheap Hotel Deals - HotelsCombinedOne suggestion is to always look at Vacation Rentals, Homes, Experiences & Places - Airbnb as an option, and there are others like http://homeaway.com and Wimdu - Vacation Rentals & City Apartments WorldwideYou could even find something via Couchsurfing- Meet and Stay with Locals All Over the World .You can also book and do price comparison even after youve booked with my company Pricerooms - Direct booking & rebooking of room reservations

What is the best way to get the cheapest good hotel at Las Vegas?

Hi, I live in Vegas and I've always found googling cheap hotel rooms in Las Vegas has been the most successful for me. You can also call certain hotels and see if they have any promotions on rooms going on at that time. Sometimes staying at places a little of the strip can save you money, and downtown hotels tend to be a little cheaper as well.I hope that helps a little.
