Which is the best English horror movie?
If you are speaking of a British horror film, I saw one years ago called “Asylum” made in the 1970’s or very early ‘80’s. It involved a young psychiatrist tasked with finding the “lost” psychiatrist of an insane asylum who went up stairs and is now missing. The young guy must interview the residents on the upper floors to try and find the lost employee. The horror came from the tales the residents told. Most were kind of lame but there was one that terrified me! It involved a man who had killed his wife, cut her up, wrapped her in tape and butcher paper, and put her in the freezer in the cellar. The body reanimated and came after him and the woman who he was having an affair with. She was the person in the asylum telling the tale.Now if you are speaking of one in the language English, there are too many good ones to chose from. Due to judgement of what is “The BEST” being subjective, not objective, it is personal to each viewer what they feel is “Best”. What scares the Crap out of me might make you just yawn or vice versa.
