Which new movies and songs are good?
Most definitely depends on what you like.Recently, I've seen Logan, Beauty and The Beast, Lion, and Kong: Skull Island.Logan was amazing. Beautiful plot structure, great character development, a true tear jerker! It was fantastic, and if you are in to hardcore action, and love, and blood and fighting, I'd HIGHLY recommend.Beauty and The Beast was very good. It's loving, warm, funny, everything you'd expect from a Disney movie.Lion was incredible. It made me feel so uplifted and inspired. You break down and then the film builds you up. It's truly beautiful.Kong: Skull Island was pretty cool. I loved the characters, and the plot of the film actually made a lot of sense. Very action packed, but very sweet too.MUSIC:Depends on what you listen to really…I have an ear for all types of music. However, I listen to alternative rock a lot more than anything. I don't know of any new songs that you'd be able to enjoy. I'm sorry, if you tell me what kind of music you're looking for, I can most definitely help.
What are some good movies about New York City?
You can’t beat the opening scenes of Manhattan by Woody Allen. Even if you don’t like classical music, you’ll probably recognize the opening music—Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. The movie was made in 1979, just about the nadir of NYC’s condition, but it still feels SO NEW YORK. More than any of the thousands of other movies I’ve seen.The Devil Wears Prada (usually seen as a chick movie) has much more substance to it and excellent actors and gives off a genuine New York vibe. Meryl Streep, Ann Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci are spectacular. I've been watching the same old movies for years. Especially horror movies. So none of them scare me anymore or anything. I've seen some new movies too. None of them are really that great. I'm not just looking for horror movies, but stuff like "The Last Song" and "Flipped." Good love stories. Even new movies that are soon to come out would be nice. :) Any suggestions on what to watch..?

Pyewacket, Mandy, Bad Times at the El Royale, Don't Breath, Starry Eyes, Green Room, The Green Inferno and Better Watch Out. These movies didn't just come out. They are newer in the last few years. If you need more, let me know.
Old movies are better than new movies?
YES...YES...again?...YES. I blame today's younger and less proficient producers coupled with corporate owned studios that simply seek out a profit through demographics and verified if not over used formulas. They dumb down today's movies for their own low gratitude of audiences. Through tired recreations of what has already been done; computerized effects overshadowing story line or character development; low brow and vulgar humor; and their steadfast credence that today's audiences will leave a movie disappointed if they don't get to peek through the curtains of someone's bedroom window and watch them have sex. In my view, today's producers neither have respect for today's audiences; respect for values; respect for true cinema production; respect for imagination; respect for risk; and are incompetent and clueless at their primary job functions outside of bean counting.
