@ That other user - While I don't condone theft, how does people pirating a video game make it more expensive? Do you really think a developer would charge less if nobody stole their games? It has a ridiculous amount of games on it, and most of them are nice and cheap (And legal). This way you know they are virus free. Also, Steam has games on sale all of the time.

The torrent program manages all this automatically, but once your computer has finished the download it will continue to 'seed' the file, allowing other users to download it from you.
