What are some good horror games for xbox 360?
Skip resident evil 5, its not horror. If anybody says it is....just disregard the rest of there answer. In the order of how I would rate them, not only in scares but overall. Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Director's Cut Its actually a xbox game but its one of the ones that work on the 360 and it does so without any issues. Its a pretty good horror game, though its more in keeping with the japanese kind of horror....stuff like pulse, kairo, the grunge, ring, you know....those kind of movies. It is actually really well done though, and would be my pick. the condemned games are enjoyable, and have a creepy kind of vibe to them. There are also demos for them on live, there not overly scarey but they have that feel to them. There dark, gritty, and have good jump moments. They are some of the best, horror games on the 360 I liked the f.e.a.r. games, they had a nice feel to them and I think xbox live has demos for atleast 1 if not 2 of the games so you could get a good feel of them that way. They are not overly scarey but they are up there with a few of the games on your list.

Player Unknowns BattleGrounds is a pretty addicting 3rd and first person battle Royale style game with very realistic weapon, and player health mechanics. It’s also like $30 so definitely worth picking up.Another good one is Forza Horizon 3, which is an open world racing game with plenty to do, and so much content that it’ll take you forever just to complete the base game. I find myself just free roaming over the beautiful map which Is set in Australia.If you like rage-inducing platformer games then CupHead might be a good option for you. It’s run-and-gun gameplay style goes well with the 1930’s custom waterworks art background. I will give you 4:Warframe would be at the top of that list, is not my cup of tea, but it is a great third person slasher/shooter with some Free to Play mechanics in it, it wasnt great when it started but it has become increasingly better in each update. If you can pass the sort of nonsensical story you will probably love it.Smite a great third person League of Legends Moba style game, requires a ton of free time to learn but really worth it. Also if you are patient enough you will never need to expend a dime in it.Paladins, Overwatch for free enough said, great first person class shooter with overwatch fantasy tones (and a lot of ripping off from other games) just like smite if you are patient and skilled enough there is no need to expend money in it at all. Is not as good as overwatch but sometimes it can be just as fun.Killer instinct, is not exactly “free” but is a great fighter game with a really extended trial mode in which you will be able to play different characters per week/month. However if you really want to play it like you should you need the full version of at least one season. (sorry) good news is it has been offered as a free games for gold title twice. So if you have a xbox live gold account maybe you already have it. be warned though, is not as deep or complex as other fighters in the system (Although it does have some interesting mechanics) but it is very flashy and a lot of fun to play. Specially if you have all the characters.

1) Any of the LEGO games, but LEGO Star Wars and the just released LEGO Marvel Superheroes games are probably the best of the lot. There's built-in co-op mode so you can play with your kids or multiple kids can play together, there's open exploration (run around and smash stuff) which is usually just as fun to kids as the story itself, and the challenge level is tolerable because there's no perma-death -- you just lose a few coins and come back to life. The "plot" is usually conveyed through cutscenes between boards, though the scenes are spiced with (kid-friendly) humor.The dirty little secret of these games is some of them work better than others because some of them don't have a deep enough roster of characters. Indiana Jones, for instance, was kind of a dud because it was Indy and a bunch of characters no one really wanted to play. Even LEGO Batman has this problem a little bit, where Batman is the star and the supporting characters are kinda meh. Star Wars and Marvel bring deep rosters with lots of fan favorites, which makes them more engaging.2) Rayman Origins is a side-scroll platform type of game which is visually beautiful and a lot of fun (and a fun soundtrack), but younger kids might get frustrated with the controls/difficulty of some of the boards. This might be one they'd have to grow into. Heck, there's some boards I haven't cleared yet.3) Minecraft is basically an online version of LEGOs. You build stuff, and you run around exploring the world that you're shaping. Granted, it usually kicks in a little older than five, and some of the "recipes" might get a little tricky for younger kids, but it's still a goofy little world.4) Roll the dice on any kids' movie tie-in game. The good news: the developers expect kids to be the primary players so they keep the controls simple and usually make death fairly forgiving. The bad news: a lot of movie tie-in games are rushed to market and tend to not be all that engaging.
