Is Marilyn Manson a Satanist?
It's known that he is. Marilyn Manson was involved with LaVeyan Satanism. His type of satanism was not sacrificial or a cult following. There is a difference between the LaVeyan Satanism he practiced and the sacrificial gruesome satanism depicted in movies. LaVeyan Satanism has a rule that states one should not harm animals or humans. It is also based upon atheism. He was actually ordained a priest in the church but it was more of an honorary thing from a friend. He never truly practiced the religion. Manson is more famous now as being anti-religion, atheist, as he claims he interprets satanism differently than most people think he does.
Why do people like Marilyn Manson?
I'm hardly a marketer, so breaking down MMs fans into groups isn't my thing. And now that especially in the USA his potential fans are probably doped up on antidepressants to cure them of realism isn't helpful for him. I got into MM late, in my early 40s, in the early oughts, when he was tagged as a big influence on Eminem, who also always had an all-ages audience. If you're into Kraftwerk for its huge influence, get into MMs discography, videos, and live performances too. His influence on women artists is larger than on male artists generally. He was the first major star to follow up on Bowie in bisexuality. He was married to Rose McGowan, engaged to Dita von Teese, and partnered for years with Evan Rachel Wood. All of them recount him as inspiring and supportive. His lyrics are often *serious*, not just shocking. See The Beautiful People, Disposible Teens, The Dope Show, and The Nobodies. His covers of Sweet Dreams and Personal Jesus (especially videos, but not just) go beyond just covers to political and religious themes. His VMA Europe performance of The Beautiful People is great. What impresses me still are his insights on the maggot ridden underbellies of success, excess and abandonment, and his early willingness/courage to be an offensive public figure and mix it up, without degenerating to what we see now with the alt right.
Why did Big and Rich think they scared Marilyn Manson in their song?
As a Manson fan, I can garuntee that MM wasnt scared. I think they were trying to use him as an expression, like they're so weird that even MM cant handle them, but thats so far from the truth. lol MMs seen way worse

What are some good creepy songs?
I love the Coraline soundtrack, and i'm already a fan of Danny Elfman but I cant find any good songs to listen too that are creepy sounding. I'm not looking for Halloween type, I mean like little kids singing and the type of music you hear in a horror movie before someone gets their legs chopped off. Any songs or Artist you can recommend?
